i have very thick 4c/4b hair and i use beeswax all over my hair. roots, strands, and ends. i love it because it actually defines my curls (unlike other natural hair products) and keeps my head from itching and locks in moisture. i stand behind beeswax 100% and recommend it to everyone but a lot of people complain about how thick and heavy it is. i initially use beeswax for a twist out or braid out then i won't have to moisturize for maybe 3-4 days. i love it and i think people should give it a try. everybody's hair is different so if it doesn't work don't be discouraged.
I looooove the black beeswax.. im still rocking a super defined twist out i did 2 weeks ago jus from one application of this product..I have 4c thick fine/med hair and no other product has been as effective as beeswax when it comes to moisture retention and curl definition..i wet my hair and coat it with the beeswax by working it in from root to tip until my curl pattern appears.. (that's right I coat it cuz my hair is seriously coarse and kinky) I two strand twist it and then let it air dry overnight.. the next day when I take them out I have the most AMAZING curl definition.. I run my hair under water to reduce some of the stickiness and jus let it air dry.. as the days go on the tacky feeling goes away but your still left with incredible curl definition shine and volume 😍😍
I luv this product too. Its very mosturizing. I have medium strands....so I only apply to my ends...but I am so glad you've shared your experience using this product for women with similar hair texture to yours
I love Murrays.... I use it every day. Im a white guy with short hair, i put it in when my hair is a lil damp. it drys, and it holds with a natural look. not shiny, not hard like gel. I use about a 4oz container every two years. Its great!
I've used this exact product on my hair for over a year now. I wear my hair in protective mini twists most of the time and just do different styles with the twists. I actually use it throughout my medium thickness hair as I twist, because it holds my twists in place, makes them neat, and defines the curls on the ends. I always finish by sealing the ends with this. The thickness and stiffness took some getting used to at first, but my twists last two weeks, and when I take them down, my hair still feels moisturized and people compliment me on my [wash day] twist out. I do use water based conditioners in conjunction with this. But this product helps seal the conditioners in, prevents my hair from drying out. I have seen the most growth and length retention in my hair since it was long when I was a child. I actually stumbled onto this video while searching where to buy lots of several jars to stock up, lol.
Gurl stop lying and shut the fuck up and she is NOT beautiful. Light skin bitches ain't all that and they damn sure ain't better than brown skin bitches!
I've just started to use this on my ends. I've always neglected to which is dumb because it says to do so on the jar! I rub it between my hands vigorously to warm it up. It melts down nice and spreads so much easier that way.
I keep my cut very short. But I'm NOT going to get others rich. By buying all those expensive products! Well I'm 40 and my mom used one or two different greases. Which were around 1 buck a piece.
Honestly i love it , but the first time i used it i put a lot in my hair & it was so hard to get out 😂😂😭 so i had to put oil in my hair to make the hardness of the beeswax loosen up then wash it at least 4 times .. but i've learned from that mistake😂 but other than that it's a pretty good product .. jus don't put a lot of it in your hair 👍🏻
I will have to try this for my ends! I'm fighting Alopecia- I wear wigs while trying to grow and find some type of maintenance. Yeah, I'm not going to give up everything from back in the day either, hey,bit worked! lol New subbie here- thanks for the video
..that’s exactly how feel abt grease ..like my mom used the hell out of Blue Magic on my hair growing up ..now that I’m grown I do use more oils but I still use grease at times 🙃
Hey do you have any tips on washing/general care when using this product? I bought some the other day and I’m not going to lie it scared me a little on how hard it is to remove! I bought some DAX shampoo (that shampoo removes almost ANYTHING) just to be safe. Should I be concerned with build up? How often should I use this product to style my hair? Thank you in advance, great video
You definitely want to use a shampoo that saids a cleansing...this should better help u get the product out. I suggest using this product once or twice a month. This is definitely not the type of product u want to use weekly
BLISS Lmao weekly I was considering using it daily!!! Thank you for your reply, I figure i need to get maybe a washable daily style to use alongside this or something. I did consider returning one jar and getting another product like DAX washable wax or something. See I feel we have all these products but very little information and education on how to use them in a healthy way-glad to see your helping combat this!
Beeswax is good for a lot of things, I use a different brand but I use it instead of hair gel to hold my curls in place. It's great, and it don't even feel like I'm wearing anything in my hair! Although I'm 3a so Idk if that would work well on other hair types.
I think it's good that a lot of people do pictorials but petroleum is a mineral oil petrolatum this particular beeswax is high in petrolatum so is the furthest thing from being 100% Australian beeswax I do teach label awareness. I'm not saying to do babe in wrong with this particular beeswax I've used it before but I also make valid products.. most companies use petroleum because it's a filler but mostly all hair pomade that you use will petrolatum in it. It's all about how much you use. it can build a coat on your hair or it can activate lock and seal it for whatever other oils such as argan oil or jojoba oil that will be formulated with petrolatum.. it just can't be used incorrectly don't use too much in the formula that's it this video started off wrong.. thanks for the attempt.
Is it gooie? Or hard? I have a didgeridoo and I need to make a new mouth piece from Australian Black Bees wax! If I buy a jar . and take it out ..is it pliable like clay? Make a mouth piece from it? Or it's way too thin like oil????
Girl this is the business for edges, and shiny like that. I was looking for something to lay down my frizzy edges, it was in my closet looking at me. Go figure, lol
I know this sounds crazy but i use dishwashing liquid. Just make sure you are gentle and use a good shampoo and deep conditioner after because it strips the hair of all oils.
Barbara Haynes-Warren you can purchase African black soap on websites such as Amazon and eBay. shea moisture also have there have their own line of African black soap shampoo or like me...you can make your own..which is my preference..check out my video on how to make your own
My hair is an inch short and I don't know wht to use to grow it and make it grow , I have the doo grow triple strength grease , the bee's wax 100% pure Australian grease , the scurl wave and curl activator , again oil strength and shine leave in conditioner, I need help finding wht I need to use to thicken and grow my hair also soften it bcuz it gets dry very fast
Am i suppose to wash murray's beeswax out my hair i haven't. Wash it about 4 weeks and i have sum hair falling out but i don't wanna lose my hair dread style sticking up i want it to keep sticking up almost like wicks but i don't have no rubber bands to keep my dreads sticking up i need help plz reply back
sean carter well I alwayswash my hair every week or every other week. So you may want to wash your hair in a clarifying shampoo to ensure you get all the product out
BLISS btw am white fully white so its gonna be difficult without having any rubbers bands to keep my dreads sticking up cuz the other time i washed my hair with cold ass water all my dreads went down so i restart then idk what to do now
