BTW, this was used in the movie "On a Wing and a Prayer".
It is used near the end of the movie and can be seen on Prime.
This is the first song many of us heard and sent us down the rabbit hold.

Fine reaction to a Lucy Thomas classic. It was the second song that I heard her sing with the first being ‘Moon River’ in the Voice Kids UK where she sang with skill and technique not heard by 13 year olds. ‘Hallelujah’ is brilliant! The live version from her first concert March of this year (2024) is even better. How many singers are better live with only the singer, a pianist, and some backing audio. Lucy totally controlled the concert by standing and singing! Lucy is the best singer - ever. She is phenomenal!

The audio was perfect! Thank you! At age 13, Lucy did a demo for Chris Broom who was in the process of writing a musical for the West End of London. He was so impressed with Lucy, he decided that she would be the star of his show. All the remaining songs were written for her. One of these was “Starlight “. She recorded it at aga 15. In all my years I never heard a15 year old sound as she did. Well worth a reaction!

She was 16 here. She had an entire musical written for her: Rosie (wiki Rosie Boote) . About 10 originals from this musical. The last one is "We can change the world" She did a studio version and in her Manchester concert she did a live version. She also did about 10 duets with her very talented sister Martha that you want to hear.. Enjoy.

Hello Paulie,, let me guess the person you shut down was Wilbur Finnigan, we all call him the "GRUMPY OLD MAN" he has the same problem with every reactor. Anyway " Hallelujah " a cover by Lucy, with over 50 million views on UA-cam, this is the best ever cover of this song it is just so amazing. Lucy is going to be the leading Lady in a new musical opening early next year, " it is called "Rosie " We Can Change The World " is a new song written for Lucy by a song writer called Chris Broom this song is just great. You can find all her new songs on UA-cam under Lucy Thomas Music " Rosie " there are about 12 new songs that she sings in this musical Also she has just released a cover of "I Dreamed A Dream " from Les Mis which is just so outstanding. Hi Pharaoh - good to see you back with this epic Lucy cover. She was just 16 when she dropped it. It seems that over a billion people agree with with you and me - this is just a stunning and beautiful cover of this iconic song. Yes - it was Leonard Cohen that wrote and released this song in the 1980's. FYI - Lucy, now 20, has dropped a few recent releases I would recommend you check out when you have time "Unchained Melody" and "I dreamed a dream" (2 days ago). Thx!

Léonard Cohen wrote "hallelujah". I think he wrote beautiful songs, but he, himself was not a very good singer.
About original songs for Lucy. She was signed by Cavendish records and she will be the lead role of the musical: Rosie.
For original songs from Rosie , look for the channel : Rosie the musical.
There is also a song called : Brand new day.
Anything Lucy chose to sing is full of beautiful emotions, kindness and caring for others.

This is spectacular by the amazing Lucy and to think she was only 16 years old! Her gorgeous tone, voice control , pitch perfect ,smooth as silk vocals makes her the best out there in my book! The Prayer with her sister is out of this world!

As others have said anything that says Rosie in the description underneath is original and written for her as a stage musical. She also sang "Brand New Day" a theme song for an upcoming tv show still being put together the song is outstanding and Lucy is also outstanding. Any duet with her younger sister Martha almost 6 years younger is great and has sublime Harmonizations and Martha has pretty good voice, also Mam Louise sings and did a one time special with her girls singing Smile the old Nat King Cole number.

Yes Lucy is MAGICAL! At only 16 years of age, Lucy sang this with a mature voice well beyond her years.

Lucy has a # of origional songs that have been written for her by Chris Broom of Cavendish records,she was signed by him back when she was 14,now 20,the origional songs come from the musical "Rosie" written especially for Lucy by Chris,due for release in the new year!,there is a cd available of the songs from the musical as well as a # of cd's released by Lucy😊 of covers over the last few yrs & and an origional song "Brand new day"given to Lucy to cover from a TV series yet to be released!
