I am loving creating loose incense now!
I have come across the FLOWR reference in a book somewhere and am scouring my brain to try to figure out where. Going to have to go through my notes to figure it out!
Thank you SO much for this video. ❤❤❤

I found the Blade & Broom video quite awhile ago & it transformed my home made loose incenses so that they always work well. Fantastic formula. I’m very grateful 😊
Thank you for sharing this recipe I will definitely try it out soon.
I use the oil burner method indoors with my loose incense blends. Heat some beeswax & oil over the tealight candle then add the incense. It fizzes & bubbles when it first goes in. Hardly any smoke produced this way. A gentler release of the scents.

I've done this, not realizing I've done it. Lol. Usually I just do it on top of a charcoal disk though. I don't save the blend! I should really start saving the blend!

I definitely get a funky smell from the charcoal. Do you find that your incense lasts quite long or does it burn up quickly? I seem to find that I have a lot of charcoal left at the end of the incense and I end up with stinky charcoal and burning smell and any lingering incense smells are lost. I've been using tin foil on a raised burner and that helps a lot

I find yeah, it burns fairly quickly and you’ve got to add more fairly often. But if you want smoke, loose is the way to go! I haven’t tried the bamboo charcoal yet, buts supposed to have less of a smell to it.

@@TeiaKennedy Yes! I've heard great things about bamboo charcoal, but I've not tried it myself.
Good to know yours burns quite fast, too. I wasn't sure what was normal and if I've been doing something wrong with it. I've used stick incense for years, but only tried loose in the past few years and I much prefer the smells. It seems to get spoiled each time when it gets to the point of burning up. I know it has a good balance of ingredients because I'm getting it from reputable brands, so it's not just that my dodgy home-brews are too herb-hevy! 🤣 Good to hear from you that what seems to be happening with mine is largely to be expected
