I feel like the movies had potential to be something so much more ... 1 and 2 were great, 3 was "meh" ... I think they had a 4th, but I don't care enough to open another tab to Google it. It was probably shit too, like 3. But the two biggest limitations were the director is a pedophile and "every 27 years" kind of limits the number of sequels (prequels) etc. Then again, it might just get ridiculous like some of the last Tremors movies. ;-)

This entire opening literally copied the whole opening of the first one and gave it a few changes which is absolutely stupid. This movie should’ve been made by a different director and follow the events after the second but no, it turned into a cheap film that follows nothing from its trilogy.
Im okay with them trying to pay a tribute to the first movie but they made it worse and got lazy. They used green screen to film that. What made the scene in the first movie soo good was it was shot outside using real footage of the truck approaching through the inside of the car. But I agree they need a different director and pick up after the 2nd film.

He did escape from the barn in the third sequel. It transformed back into himself, then went on to wreak havoc. Honestly, the 3rd sequel wasn't good at all. Unlike the 1st and 2nd of which I've watched a few times, part 3 will never get my viewership again. That 3rd part is dead to me.

Having driven the exact same model of this truck for a few years, i can tell you the sedan would leave it in the dust. The truck is as slow as a wet weekend and go round corners like butter on hot toast.
Unless it's a huge established A-List name Hollywood tends to ignore actors once they get much older. As a result they can't get much work and are forced to take roles in low budget or less than stellar productions due to ageism and also because it costs more to insure them on sets.

Whether Victor Salva admits it or not, the opening sequence to the first Jeepers Creepers is almost scene for scene identical to the Unsolved Mysteries’ reenactment, broadcast at least 7 years before JC was ever released. There’s no way that is a coincidence.

I feel like this opening is based off the true story that the 1st jeepers creepers was kind of built off of back in 1990 when a man murdered his wife and was caught in the act of disposing her body by 2 people driving by an abandoned school house even though this opening mimics the original so much.

Whoa, this version of the chase is even more like what was, believe it or not, a true story this sequence and the one from the first movie borrows heavily from, even putting in the Creeper stopping to change its plates. Don’t believe it’s loosely based on a true story? Look up Dennis Depue’s Unsolved mysteries episode segment. Everything up til them going back to what was an abandoned school irl was copied from it. There’s a third movie already and this is the fourth. the third one still doesn’t continue the 2nd but still. Also, the directors of the original Jeepers creepers movies didn’t even know this one was being made and had nothing to do with it.

I feel like this opening is based off the true story that the 1st jeepers creepers was kind of built off of back in 1990 when a man murdered his wife and was caught in the act of disposing her body by 2 people driving by an abandoned school house even though this opening mimics the original so much.

To make it so you can't tell what year the movie is set in. Instead of coming up with excuses as to why cell phones don't solve everything movies will set themselves in a very nebulous "before" time.

Dee Wallace ended up becoming a Werewolf in the original film "The Howling". Then she was in the Film Cujo" about a large rabid dog that has her trapped. She's much older here in this film but that's her.
