In reality the energy transfer is reduced in flask compared to others ,but its not equal to 0,if you leave hot water in flask for 2 days obviously it becomes cold, why do you think so,if its isolated system ,it prevents any kind of energy and mass transfer,if no energy is being transferred ,why does the water becomes cold over time, which makes a flask a non isolated system, but its consider as isolated for easy calculations. hope it helps
Finnally chemistry
class
what is isoboric ?
is it isobaric
which means constant pressure
Why can't we say flashk is isolated system
