The Ballyhoura Way 👣 A Long Way Through Tipperary

- This one's a big one! Sorry about the delay. This is also the first video uploaded from my phone, so it's nice to prove that that workflow works.
The Ballyhoura Way is definitely one of the tougher trails we'd done - a lot of pretty serious uphill, and also serious downhill (which can be much harder). It was a really very good trail, with easily the most Views of all the trails so far. We did the way backwards, from Tipperary to John's Bridge, and I would strongly recommend that you do not do it that way. Not only is John's Bridge just a petrol station in the middle of nowhere, but the trail also has slightly more comfortable gradients up and down hill when approached from the opposite direction.
The Glen of Atherlow and the Donkey Sanctuary in Liscarroll were highlights, also the Abbey at Galbally.
A more detailed description of the Ballyhoura Way is on our blog! toughsoles.ie

This video is kid friendly!
This is so great!
Editing is improving! Opening was awesome guys, keep it up!
Both of ye seem a lot more comfortable in front of the camera and the editing is getting a lot better. Also I didn't mind the length of the video, the whole thing kinda flowed together so it didn't seem that long at all.
I know this an old vid, but it's a wonderful vid. However I couldn't help but get "found footage" vibes. I recently watched blair witch
Haha yes, this was before we decided that walking and filming at the same time didn’t really work - people can only watch so much shaky-cam!
This is great :)
+Philip Duke Thanks Phil 😀 We're keeping an eye out for new bouldering areas!
i wish you would show amap of where you are and where you are going each trip.
It’s something we’ve wanted to add ourselves! Just finding maps that are free to use is almost impossible, and we definitely didn’t have the editing skills to build our own when we started this project.
However we do also write blog posts about each trail, and there are usually overview maps in those!

thx-love your vids. i will check out your blogs. i am from the US and planning an inn to inn hike along the beara penninsula. The hike is rated as gentle. Any tips?
Thanks! We haven’t made it to Beara yet, but it’s close on our list, so we’ll have more details for you soon! In general, be prepared for mixed weather because of the coast and the mountains, 4 seasons in a day is one of the most realistic stereotypes of Ireland! When are you planning on going?

Of this year? Who knows, maybe we’ll see you there!
