Violinists; they simultaneously look like they would have a polite formal conversation with you, but also impale you with the bow out of mild annoyance.
I actually like the third one the best, i think the articulation of his notes was very sharp. #1 had a screech of the E string at the end #2 was on the wrong tempo, too quick. #3 was perfect imo
but it was supposed to be like fierce wind at least on the notes, instead of melody in the third time. 1st time has to be like so much wind, 2nd brute and 3rd clean
I love reading these comments, its fun to see the difference between the ears of people that actually plays violin and the opinions of the people that does not play it.
yeah, i've played violin since i was three, that squeak didn't even mean anything. she still had the best tempo and dynamics but the third guy had the best articulations
in my opinion, the first one was the most in-tune and most on-beat without sounding too rushed, the second one was honestly the most impressive in how fast and crisply the latter half was played compared to the other two, and the third one had the most flair and the best sounding finish to it. overall, i think the first one was the cleanest performance (yes, yes, despite the “screech” - it happens) and was my favorite.
This short is amazing. Apart from getting to see and hear these talented musicians, I get to see some observations, and get some insights about this expertise. Also I agree with your comment, the first one sounded best for me, the second was amazing for the speed, and the third was just outstanding all throughout although I prefer the overall sound of the first. Anyhow they're all amazing!
Tbh, i don't have any experience in violin or music in general, but before i entered the comment section I simply thought each one had a different personality. Like i get that experts look for perfection and being in tune with source material, but the differences of these three is what made them shine to me. I know to people, some parts of what they did were counted as mistakes, but to me every bit of sound they poured out was simply just right.
I loved the 2nd one because her end rhythm was really nice and dramatic and whole solo was like really squeaked and perfect amount of everything so hers!!! ⭐️✨✨✨💖💖💖🎵🎼🎶
After 2 years playing the trumpet and participating in band, it has come to my attention that very good musicians tend to have swing in their performances.
Someone at my school in year 11 played this with him doing the solo parts and omg I've never seen everyone cheer so loud, as Someone who loves music it just made me smile
It’s so funny to me I play the violin, I see this and think I can play it. The moment I actually think about trying to play it I instantly realize how tough it would be. Been playing for 4.5 years, I’ll get there eventually
I just had a violin audition, and I failed miserably, so now I'm watching people that made it and crying. You're awesome guys! Edit: Turns out, I did not fail miserably. I got in as third chair
I choose between either one of them. But if they can’t play and get along with one another, then I’ll have to go to Europe and get those two guys who can play beautifully and harmonize it brings a tear to your eyes. And they can stand on their feet and play and play in various travel venues. They collaborate, and not adversarial in their performances.
1st one was the most enjoyable despite the squeak, 2nd one tried way to hard to get volume and just crunched, 3rd one was clean but maybe a little passive
The 1st one is the only on-beat execution of this music I’ve ever heard. Of course, I haven’t heard 100% of violinists in the world 😊but still. Bravo!!!
The guy done it perfect, with elegant sound.
True
Según la partitura están representando un 'horrible viento', así que probablemente no buscara un sonido limpio y perfecto
No he didn’t

Although 1st girl squeaked, she had the best tempo and dynamics... found her solo the most pleasing to listen to
Agreed, the timing of each note and dynamics through the notes were basically perfect.
exactly.
Yeah
Agreed, only thing off was the screech which is so hard not to do oml

Vivaldi's music is great and so are performers.

the first one has the best phrasing and expressiveness
Agreed. Third one was clear and well articulated but his expressiveness suffered

I loved the first one, the little squeak was funny ngl, but she had the best tone and intonation. The other two were still amazing!! ❤
nah in terms of tone 3rd won
vivaldis winter focuses mainly on the expression tho and they all respresented their respective emotions equally great.

I can only dream of becoming this well, its so beautiful
So clean
The girl with the carpet dress had a nice tone!
I think the second one, is more like classic❤❤ Love all three
Like the first the most, probably would chose #3 if this was another piece but for Winter #1 suits best.
The last was as if both the first and second have been perfectly combined in near perfection.
Oof string from first one 💀
But yall still amazing, love it 🩷

The First messed up the ending, the second messed up the start, the guy did it perfect
this is the song that got me to start playing violin at 6 years old istg it's been my one goal during my 7 years practicing :)
I liked the sound of the first violinist in the colorful skirt. The other two were screechy.
I love how they were all respectful of each other's moment in the sun instead of trying to play over each other
the first one had really nice tone 😍
We gonna pass through vardohus fortress with this one🥶🥶🥶🔥

I think the guy did it perfectly spot on to the original sound
Yeah. The third one was the absolute best. Guy slayed that. They’re all great, but his sounded just perfect!
I want to know how many takes this took 😅
One i bet, you can notice some of the mistakes they made. Nevertheless, all 3 of them are really good 😅
From a technical standpoint the guy is the obvious winner. No squeaking or skipping on the notes and no dual tones
The seastrings? You should be violists then?
