William Thomas "Billy" Murray (May 25, 1877 -- August 17, 1954) was one of the most popular singers in the United States in the early decades of the 20th century. Thank you. It is Sunday April 5th 2020. I decided to get dressed for church, even though my church is not open, due to Coronavirus pandemic quarantine. I thought of this cliche, "all dressed up and no place to go". I searched Google for its Origins. When I found it was a 1911 Vaudeville show, the girl of my dreams, I searched UA-cam for the original song.
So, I decided to get dressed, in honor of my Lord Jesus Christ, as I spend time focusing on Him, anyway.

Can't seem to find the lyrics to this particular rendition of the song so here is my best attempt. I think I got it all except one point where I added a '?' so if anyone knows for sure or not please let me know.

Thanks for posting the lyrics. To me, the line with the "?" sounds like: "Who was sick in the Soldiers' Home." (Soldiers' and Sailors' Homes were retirement or nursing homes for retired or disabled military.)
