Man... Tried so hard to get them to bite on the fly! One of my friends went and fished a different section last Friday with his brother in law, and they both got skunked. Made me feel a little better, but that's some tough water. Appreciate you stopping in👍
Too bad about the lake, but catching something in both spots you tried is a win-win. Beautiful scenery as always and not surprised the water is so cold with the snow in the background. Great job Ryan and thanks for sharing!
Yes sir. It kinda threw me off to be honest. A pit stop became the main attraction, but I'm not complaining if I can catch a nice one. I have your crappie video queued up and am anxious to see it. Have a nice weekend👍🇺🇸
Man those trout are beautiful Ryan ! I always like fishing new waters, you never know when you will find that spot that’ll become your new favorite spot. Too bad the gate at the lake was closed but still a good day.
Great job getting out and catching a few. Hopefully you can get to the lake next time. We need some of that cold water over here in Pennsylvania. Creeks have really warmed up here lately, makes trout fishing tough
C’mon yall let’s get Ryan to 1k subs!!! Awesome video bud! Dropping in on a new spot and catching is satisfying to watch - I imagine it’s even better in person lol Any ideas why the road was closed?
I like that rod with the cork on it. Very peaceful music you added as well. Beautiful browns. So I guess you answered a longtime question of mine whether or not waders keep your legs warm or not, lol. So winter time or snow runoff water is cold in waders still I assume? So I assume the water was too cold for the trout to surface on flies, correct? Fantastic fishing and video edit/photography as always Ryan.
Waders help a lot! It's cool, but nothing like sticking my hand in that water! They will occasionally rise when the air is warm and the bugs start to hatch. I had a good day back in November where the fish were rising, which surprised me. But, it's typically the warmer months when they are hitting the surface. Thanks Dave👍
Wow, you caught excellent fish. Congratulations, good luck always. 👍🎣🐟🐟🐟🎣
Thank you👍
Good fish that you caught. I hate tough days..I've had a few this year on the lake.
Right now, I'm sore from 4 days of yard work. I'd take a bad day of fishing for sure🤣
Wow such a nice water to explore! That first brown was a beauty! Good job Ryan!
Thanks Henry👍
Heck ya Ryan. Nice catches. Exploring new waters can be so much fun. And when you catch, it makes it even more enjoyable. Nice video brother.

Catching some nice browns at a new spot ✅️!! That first one was a beauty. Nicely done Ryan!
Yeah! That first one has some cool spots and was brighter than the ones I'm used to. I think they're such cool fish. Thanks Henri-Vine👍
It’s always good to explore new spots to fish Ryan, nice catch buddy stay after them 🙂 Tightline 🎣
Thanks Gary! Hope you're doing well👍
Nice first catch!
Nice place and great water with a couple fish in the net too, enjoyed the trip with you, thumbs up and greetings from NZ, Tony.
1.2 trout in the net🤣 Thanks Tony 👍

You got that right 👍
Thank you for taking me fishing those Browns are very colourful CYU
Their name doesn't do them justice! Thanks Ray!
Nice outing on some gorgeous looking spots. A tiny 2nd one , but not skunked! Too bad about the gate. Maybe next time!
It should be open now! Not sure I want to brave the holiday traffic 🤣
That's some great looking water! Started out with a beautiful Brown! at least one got one at the new spot! Good stuff Ryan!
Thanks Chris! I was missing that home water advantage. You know what I'm talking about!
@@JumbleTronChannel absolutely!!!
Nice couple of catches Ryan! Trying new waters paid off. Bummer the road was closed to the lake.
Thanks man! All in good time😁
Yesir, take those two areas over a lake any day. Teeny is good by me. Beautiful catches, Rye!
Yes, it's a good stream, but if you saw the lake, you'd probably think it's awesome too 😁
@@JumbleTronChannel 😂
Looked like a fun day even though you didn't get to the lake. Atleast you caught a couple😎👍

@@JumbleTronChannel I'd reccomend the wiper video I posted 6 days ago, instead. It was a lot more fun and actually the same day😎🎣

That's the truth!

Mountain fed water in May is shockingly cold! Crazy those trout are able to handle it if you think about it!
Looks like you had fun
I just love getting out in the mountains! Thanks John👍
Nice one brother👍
Thanks Ted! You got your boat out yet?
@@JumbleTronChannel getting it out this weekend brother
Always fun to fish new waters! I'm a little late on this one been a cruise the last few days🛥
All good! Cruise sounds way better than watching me not catch trout 🤣
🤣🤣
Always fun checking out new spots. Started off great. I bet you’ll get on a bunch there at some point
It's tough when I'm used to "my" spot. Different temps, pressure, etc. I got some learning to do!
@@JumbleTronChannel It’s that way for all of us
A little murk is my favorite thing to fish because they aren’t spooked by seeing me
I thought I was going to murder them! Gotta figure them out
@@JumbleTronChannel Spinners in the murk work best

Seasonal closure... doh!
@@JumbleTronChannel For potential weather-related road safety concerns? Wild country you live in up there
@fishing4dinner Yeah... Probably so they don't have to plow during winter months
Plan B was a pretty good spot. Beauties. The lake isn't going anywhere.
This is very true. I just need to get up there now that it's open!
