The very first song or earliest song (from this movie) that made the entire nation mad! An instant hit after having heard it by people! Starting with Lata’s humming and musical jingle that follows it, GREAT! One more thing so fascinating for people was the use of word PAGLA (meaning innocently mad) because first time it was used to link it with a heart! As for the DEEWANA word, you would find it oftentimes in so many songs to describe state of the heart! I think the second song making people crazy was Kabootar (pigeon) song. Later, very soon, all the songs became so so so popular!

Good song great voice by Lata Mangeshkar and intelligent choice
As it is said, Indian Music is more about spirituality than just dance and enjoyment. And Lata Mangeshkar's voice really transcends you to another world. It's so pure, divine and enigmatic at the same time. I still remember the day she left this world. I was restless the entire day. For me at least, not a single day passes without remembering a few people some or the other way. Lata Mangeshkar, Kishore Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar(Last 2 are great cricketers, batsmen) . I always thank GOD that he has blessed my life with these extraordinary people.

And after a long long time, I have a song request. As I said, there are just 2-3 song left from my request list. I had selected other one with Madhuri Dixit, but I chosed this one first, as the entire nation is stormed by Amitabh's perfonce in Kalki movie. So I left that one and first chosed this one. Its called DE DE PAYR DE from the 1984 movie Sharaabi, again sung by KISHORE KUMAR. The song created a mass hysteria then. And still it puts a smile on the face of the listeners.
