Many are unaware that Bhagyashree belongs to the Marathi royal family of Sangli in Maharashtra. Her grandfather is Chintamanrao Dhundirao Patwardhan, the last ruling Raja (King) of the princely state of Sangli. Her father, Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan, is the titular Raja of Sangli.

One Artist, Two Names!
Ever since cinema's begging in India, it's been a common practice of two music artists working collaboratively as a Composer Duo, for e.g. the first renowned duo being Shankar-Jaikishan. Mostly, all of them use their real names rather than nicknames. In keeping with this, during mid 70s, two aspiring young musicians Raam and Laxman (real name Vijay) join hands to work together as a composer duo Raam-Laxman and start their musical journey ahead. For a while witnessing the usual initial struggle, they get their first break in Hindi Cinema World.
But as destiny would have it, a tragedy occurred and even before the release of their first Hindi movie, Raam died due to some illness complications. Later, when it released in 1976, neither the film nor its music got success. In such a precarious situation of dealing with a personal loss in life and career in jeopardy, Laxman had only two options left. Either to find new partner or to restart his career as a solo composer, using his real name Vijay Patil. He chose neither!!! Instead, as a mark of tribute to his beloved deceased friend, he soon decided to continue with the same double names, and began his second inning as a music compose Raamlaxman!!! Unfortunately, as a solo, he mostly remained unsuccessful with only handful of films and a few random hit songs to his credit. Hence, his name was unknown to people for years. But, then, fortunately, in 1989, he was assigned with a film project called Maine Pyaar Kiya. And, the rest is a History!!!
Best movie with melodious songs
Deniz is absolutely right, everybody is watching them. But, their intention is to hide themselves whenever they are together! This is what Bhagyashri is singing, you go first, I will follow. Kudos to Suraj B! I mean all songs have their own beauty with excellent singing and soundtrack, but here he thought outside of box to create this picturization. Both singing in one house, and singing over the phone from one room to another was so innovative and fascinating! And, he was the same age as Salman and Bhagyashri, so so young!

That's the Salman khan I had fallen in love with in 1989.. from this movie, this is my favourite song. Only movie that I watched may be a dozen times! (I was just a teenager, please..) Then of course SRK happened :) What a wonderful memory it brought ❤
