It is not recommended to add Salt or Sugar for babies under 1 year.
How ever you can add pinch of immunity boosting spices like pepper, Cumin for Savory version from 6 + Months.
Dry Dates powder, Dry fruit powder, Raisins Syrup or Jaggery syrup, even Dates syrup as a natural sweetener from 8 + Months.
