Happy Birthday to Daniel! Lets give him a Birthday Present and Hit 1000 Likes on this Video! What do you think of the simple DIY brake setup! Yes there are better ones but this show you can make something from various parts fairy easy!
Happy Daniel!🎇🎉🔥🎂🍻🤘. I'm just wondering how much deflection the backing plate will have when you apply the brakes? Maybe I'm just over thinking this🤔🤔! Love this build by the way!! ✌️✌️
Speedway rear disc conversion bracket and the GM caliper are super cheap and made for each other and they have two different hats for separate discs and they clear 15" wheels. Not to cast aspersions on your job, you used what you had, just making the suggestion for the people who don't have brackets for another axle just hanging around.
On my 72 wagoneer I used to have, I did the drum to disk swap cheaper and it was a full upgrade all the way around! Ditched the pos d30 closes knuckle for a d44 open knuckle from a k10
1 step forward, 2 steps back. I know how that works. Nice to see some actual work going on. Messing about in a field in some old bangers may be fun but not much of a spectator sport.
Hola te felicito por tu trabajo....soy de México de que discos (auto o camioneta ) debo usar para hacer la conversión....quiero hacer delanteros y traseros que me recomiendas
There are a lot of things that could have been easier The point was Joe wanted to show something that people can make on their own with what they have.
Hi I was wanting to do this exact set up on my cj7, is there an e-mail or number I can contact you for a more in depth explanation on parts and procedure?
Nice idea on that brake conversion... 👊😉 4 Joe, 🎂😁 4 Daniel Okay any pointers for me to help finish the fabrication on my hot dog cart I'm working on building, LOL 🌭🤪 can't wait to sell my weiner on the street corner 😉...... 🙄 lol ... Yeah I know I'm late LOL... it's my weekend with my son.
I want frankenjeep… it's my kinda ride... since all my friends call me Frankeninjun due to the number of nuts, bolts, screws and plates holding me together, it would be appropriate

I love the DIY stuff it can be very expensive otherwise please share more and keep working on Franken Jeep
@@wadepreston5298 I thought about that as well but those old backers off the drum brakes are pretty beefy. Not the thin crap used today.
Team Olympus Happy Birthday 🎁🎈
Currently my favorite project. Glad you are back on it. Happy Birthday

I appreciate you fellas more with each vlog. Thank you and Happy Birthday!!
It’s nice to see you guys doing engineering/fabricating again.
That’s the video that I always want to see!!!
Thanks for posting it!, I subscribe to your channel too!
I realize you say the rotor is something you already have, but do you know what it may have come from? Did you modify the hub for it to slip over?
Happy Birthday Daniel! I hit like and shared! Great Video⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We explained it was just a piece of steel with holes. We were going to make tabs which would have been the same thing.
Happy Birthday Daniel.
Fantastic job as usual.
im trying to do this with my dj-5 jeep

Ring. That. Bell.
Treat this like Arby's. If you love it, and like the service/content, ring the bell!

Great job and video guys 👍👍🇨🇱
Cool idea, but are you going to add a vacuum booster? Seems like a moot point to switch to discs, if you're keeping it non-power, IMO.
Ready to see that CJ rip.
Happy belated Birthday !
Would it have been easier to draw up and cut a custom plate on the plasma table?

GOOD JOB
any worries about deflection in that shaft coming in contact with the rod? it would be bad news to bump them at full send. love the videos.
No the only area that it could potentially come in contact is when the vehicle's in park.

Sounds like Daniel's head seeing as though it's made partially out of titanium lol
you reallly had to through stupidly the water bottle around during your buddy's explanation!
engagement ! commentary !! tired!
😎👊
Please tell us which discs and caliper do you use ?
