Good news guys!!! I had installed a bag over the distributor before we left. Unfortunately I didn't have it tied up properly. After that 1 issue I fixed the bag and there were no more issues
Red tacky grease around the distributor seal should help keep the water out and di electric grease in plug wires shouldn't have many more issues out of it thats what I do for my bogging truck its worked great for me just a suggestion great content love the truck
Use dielectric grease to seal the plug wires and also use it to seal the seams around the distributor. Plus they make a waterproofing spray that you can spray on everything external including the coil to keep it water resistant. They also make a filter cover that is waterproof so it won't suck water through the intake
Thank you for all the content your team creates. My father used to take us bad ass kids to the auce catfish spot on the lake back in the 90’s. Camping trips and lots of fishing and fun. I enjoy seeing all the rigs booging. Love the brotherhood y’all have. Gasoline mud killer.
I came to plant bamboo for the first time a couple weeks ago and it was crazy fun to watch all y'all go Wild!! In Wyoming where I'm from they have nothing like this.
Around here the guys who don't want to put a snorkel on their river jeeps plumb the intake into the cab. Usually into the glove box. Seems like that would be a good spot on your rig.
Plumb the air cleaner/filter to the inside of the cab behind the dash. That is a good solution for the water getting into the intake. As for the distributor I have plenty of ideas but silicone is the only proven idea and it doesn't always work out lol.
You should totally cut a hole in the firewall where the glove box is an put he air filter inside the cab in the glove box. Keeps it dry an u'll be able to hear that supercharger also probably time for an aluminum engine box to keep the water from splashing all over the distributor
Appreciate you JH always taking the time to film/edit on top the full time diesel career. Ones like myself, this kind of badass fun is out of the budget. We get to live it through your videos brother. You the man JH
Waaaay too much water in the mud holes and not enough water on the dirt road in front of us vendors. 🤣🤣🤣🤘🤘🤘 Still was a blast!!! That entire back area is always slept on in my opinion. At least for the megatrucks.
Might be worth looking into a coil on plug setup. Swap those plug wires for a bunch of weatherpak connectors and it would be easier to seal the distributor with only one wire to a hall sensor in there. Dr. Tune em all probably can do a simple setup on it.
All that water brother, id have to drain every fluid. Take the distributor cap off and put a bead of silicone around it, reinstall. Id do that with everything. Not sure just a guess, Hopefully it would help id be so worried about water filling gear boxes rear ends u kno how that is. Id try silicone on everything
Damn JH, she’s a wicked machine. She was tearing that bog apart. Is the engine running on race gas or methanol? It sounds like gas but I can’t tell for sure. Looks like a blast!
truck seems to be doing a little better with the new filter , you hadnt shown the finished product yet hmmm its overheating and the oilpressure acts funny , better check the coolant / oil for contamination and do a compressionttest on the cilinders , theres a chance that it blew a headgasket , good call on not riding the truck and checking it over after you get home

Glad to see Drew alive the next morning…he was smoked!

Bring some 8×6ft 1 inch thick plywood to park your sweet RV upon, it'll not sink

Oh zzDrew. Your a GOD DaMn Amarican hero.
Love watching that blower run through the mud
Around here the guys who don't want to put a snorkel on their river jeeps plumb the intake into the cab. Usually into the glove box. Seems like that would be a good spot on your rig.
Should run the air filter right intot the cab where you have the open for the AC box
Loved the drone footage.
JH = THE BEST 👌
Back in the day ...I sprayed satin finish polyurethane on my distributor and electrical connections. Solved moisture problems.
All I hear from upstairs right now is "Turn the trucks DOWN, its too loud!!" HAAHAHAHAHAAAA! No chance, i'm here for the vroom vroom :)
You need one of those distributor covers that cleetus has on his race boat
That intake and distributor should be in the cab!!!
Get some marine grease and put it around the outer edge of the distributer base where the cap mates with the distributor. Or dielectric grease.
The trucks doing awesome 👍😎 keep it up guys!!!!
Ron always puts on a good show, good call at trying to keep it together
Been to a similar event like this up north felt very welcomed
Probably the best its sounded

Seems like a legit place to legally drink and drive 🤣
You should totally cut a hole in the firewall where the glove box is an put he air filter inside the cab in the glove box. Keeps it dry an u'll be able to hear that supercharger also probably time for an aluminum engine box to keep the water from splashing all over the distributor
JH ,WE NEED A POSTER of you and justin at plant bamboo tearing it up in the MUD TRUCK thanks
Great content thanks for sharing
Easton got that big block eating
Rons a stud

Just be stoked for him. He's building the big truck soon. It's hard to focus no doubt. Especially once you get your blower motor build done lol
And hybrid 😅 jh is such a rad guy nomatter what he drives
Liked bc that shit is funny
That's what the "4x4" part of his name is for LOL. It covers everything else
@@bildough2775was nothing funny about it.
Keep it up broski!!! You do you, loving it.
See you in punta gorda in a couple weeks!!
Great video and drone work! This was well put together!
You should turn the air intake around an put it in the cab
Appreciate you JH always taking the time to film/edit on top the full time diesel career. Ones like myself, this kind of badass fun is out of the budget. We get to live it through your videos brother. You the man JH
Good to hear u being smarter about the truck. Well atleast it sounds like it.
U know the tugs would smoke it for sure if there is a problem
Ron sounds killer he’s really rippin now!! Good call on playing it safe I wanna see that bad boy hit a real mud pit before you grenade that motor😁
Waaaay too much water in the mud holes and not enough water on the dirt road in front of us vendors. 🤣🤣🤣🤘🤘🤘
Still was a blast!!!
That entire back area is always slept on in my opinion. At least for the megatrucks.

When asked how much rpm legend has it the guy just said yes
(Double it up for safety) aside from that, cool drone work, I like the shots from above when your rippin
JH Who!? Diesel or Gaser who cares just keep bringing the good content!! Ron was rippin for sure.
With that new intake setup that thing is a monster now 😂
We need more military vehicle videos
That’s why they call him zzdrew 💤 😂
Try running this stuff called Engine Ice. Drain everything and use only this!
Tou need to come to Michigan and test your truck in the mud of Livingston County...try looking up Dan Perkins
Jh good call at not running it if its not running right
We used to use plumbers puddy over the distributor
Run your air filters into the Cab
Boy he’s a rippah 🤘🤘
This was a good vid bud
Man I hope there are no gators chillin in there, you would be able to see em
Ford has a factory boot to cover the dizzy
JH Big Blocks and Cummins swaps 🤣
Let’s see a bounty hole run

Hell I'm surprised when you jumped the mound the night before that you didn't drown the distributor and soak the air filter!!
When my gauge did that I had to thread it into the block tighter so it would ground better
At least it's not jh electric 😂
You'll get'r dialed!
Looks like it needed more water 🤦♂️🤣
So mad there isn’t a lb7 or lbz in that mud truck. Still love yal though lol😂
How gonna do Drew like that 😂😂
We actually got to see Easton Drive something
Damn JH, she’s a wicked machine. She was tearing that bog apart. Is the engine running on race gas or methanol? It sounds like gas but I can’t tell for sure. Looks like a blast!
I can't believe Ron's engine lasted this long.
Gotta spray that wd 40 on that distributor cap my guy
The new engine makes the last one sound like Biden HAHA.
JH all fuels lol

Need a lift kit and 38"s on that RV.
Wish you guys were more like boostedboiz, when you build something it should actually work.
