Great video. I love taking things apart. I’m 67F and when I was in 4th grade my prized possession was a reel to reel recorder in a cute little blue and white suitcase box. It stopped working and I don’t know what I was doing but I took it apart and put it back together and it worked again! Even though I few tiny pieces didn’t go back in 😂. I guess I got the mechanical curiosity from my own dad like your adorable son has your curiosity too. I have this exact coffee maker, actually two because the first one stopped producing the right amount of coffee so I came looking to see if I can figure it out and appreciate the time you took making this video. I bought some acid base descaling liquid and hoping that will do the trick. Thanks again.

I'll bet that little guy liked taking that Robot apart. The trick is putting the Robot back together. Great video.

Thanks for this. I have this model and sometimes sometimes it seems fine, sometimes it doesn't brew enough, and sometimes it displays the "de-scale" indicator when it has recently been de-scaled. I think there might be some debris loose in the valve in the brewing head that sometimes gets lodged somewhere and causes problems, and other times is loose in there and things work fine. This video should help me get at it to clean out the valve and see if it resolves the issue!

I can assure you that he came up with that all on his own, but he was always coming up with some pretty funny statements. I was dying of laughter internally when he did that, but drawing attention to it would only make it worse. I contemplated cutting that part out of the video, but decided to leave it.
I thought someone would make a mention of it sooner, but here we are! Lol

Great teardown video. I would suggest you rename this video "Cuisinart SS-700 K Cup Teardown" ... better for searching.
