    December 26th, 1908, for the first time in history, a black man had the chance to become the Heavyweight Champion of the World - Jack Johnson was given a title shot against then Champion, Tommy Burns in Sydney, Australia. Enjoy!

      That Burns ‘fight’ was like when your little brother comes at you and you palm his forehead while he swings at air. Kudos to Burns for being the shortest heavyweight champion ever, an accomplishment to be sure.But dammmmm worst mismatch ever in hw title fight.

      He also refused to fight any other black fighters for the title yet it's always the white men who are criticized for it.

      He didn’t want to fight other black fighters because he didn’t want to humiliate them the way he humiliated the white guys so it’s not the same thing
