Serial monogamy. I have a friend who haas been married 3 times while her current husband has been married four. So between them Seven marriages. Personally, the idea of the solemnity of marriage scares me. I am 72 and have shied away because the men of my generation are far too control frieky. No one is going to tell me what I can and cannot do. Just me. All of these men are of that age group. I will comment on Paul McCartney. Apparently, men in particular, who have been happy in marriage, on losing his partner, will want to re-establish that relationship. Heather clearly was a gold digger. I hope his current wife is a success. But, he wants to continue the warm relationship he has found in marriage and I applaud him. He is such an obvious positive person.
