    do a video on the new trend, the 8 dollar late fee backlash is coming, synchrony raised the rate of some cards to 34.99, Usaa just jacked the balance transfer fee from 3 percent to 5 percent and my amazon gift card minimum went to 5.00 per transaction. All of this in 30 days from an 8 dollar late fee rule.

    I have a question about credit score. I have a 815 credit score with a high income and I can't get my present card companies to drop the interest rate. One card company I have been with for 11 years and never missed a payment, same for the other cards. No missed payment. So, I am looking for another card to be my main user card. My question is. What card would you recommend for a low interest rate card? All the cards I have looked at have a high APR.

    Does the Wells Fargo Attune make this list now? It has served me so well as a catch-all. Basically if it's not one of my high %5 earning categories, it's most likely a niche category that I would usually use a 2% catch all card on anyways. And sometimes its fun to find out (1% back is not the end of the world, depending on how large the purchase)

      The cap one is a decent card with a decent sign up offer(0% intrest on purchases) and 3% back on daily categories like food and entertainment...but! Sometimes the credit limit is low.

    Blu cash everyday card to supplement my AMEX Gold vs . Savor One card to pair up with my Venture X? What are your thoughts? I would appreciate and feedback. Awesome video. Long time subscriber..

      Blue Cash Everyday does not give Membership Rewards points, so if the thought is to combine points, then the 2 Cap One cards make more sense.

    If you have a zero percent interest card for 1 year and spend 1,000, then only pay half after the year is over ($500), do you pay interest only on the $ you still owe or for the whole amount of credit you originally had? A little confused.

    • @sarutobia.f74
      @sarutobia.f74 13 днів тому +2

      You pay what you owe at the moment of the billing. So if the card is 25% APR, you would pay the $500 and that percentage

      Yes. Look for credit union cards on your own. Most UA-camrs and Bloggers won't mention them because they don't have affiliate links.

    What does it mean by “new” purchase ?

    • @ProudMoney
      @ProudMoney  2 місяці тому +2

      It just means a purchase. The word "new" is just to show it is not necessarily for balances transferred from other cards.

    What do 0% does to your credit score each month when you leave a balance? 😮

    • @ProudMoney
      @ProudMoney  8 місяців тому +15

      If you keep a high balance, it will affect your credit utilization and hurt your score until it is paid down, but will not hurt it permanently. If you will be looking for other loans while using the 0% offer, that could matter, but if not, your score will go back up as the balance gets paid down and paid off (assuming you pay it off, of course)
