The Beach area looks awesome!!! The coves look awesome!!! Dining near the Beach looks awesome!!! The private island Beach looks awesome!!! An over the water Wedding looks awesome!!! The over the water Bungalows look awesome!!! Those reef waves look awesome!!!
My husband and I and our son and daughter in law, had a beautiful vacation there in 2011. It was the best ever! They were beginning a lot of the improvements that I am seeing now, especially out on the private island. It was such an amazing experience and we were definitely treated like Royalty. Fantastic food.. anything you could want in the many restaurants to choose from. It was adult only which we also appreciated for the quiet relaxing vacation we were wanting. I look forward to going back again one day. Great video!! Thank you for sharing.
@@brentalbrecht it was good, but would not go back to that sandals again. The food was great but the resort was small and we had better experiences at different resorts.
Danny, thanks for another well narrated tour. The one thing that is missing from this great overview: the amazing presentation of Sandals' buffet! I was laughing when you went into that main dining venue and there was not a single dish in sight. To me, that is a great disservice to this tour because Sandals has excellent food-quality, wide variety, and even the food-warmers and cookware are stunningly bright, beautiful and shining. Is it surgical stainless steel, perhaps? The other very important tip to mention: for the majority of people in the world who cannot afford to stay at places like Sandals, there is the option of a Day Pass or an Evening Pass. That is an excellent way of visiting and viewing for a fraction of the price of a stay . . . and you get to sample all of the dining options within the hours of your Pass. Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados do this extremely well, I found.
This was an outstanding walkthrough. We are having a large wedding there in June and I'm going to share this video with them so my 60 guests can experience first hand. We did the Test Drive and your video shows everything exactly at is it, versus many false and outdated advertisements and videos that I've seen. I'm also going to share the Sandals Montego Bay video (so the younger wilder guests can know where to go to "turn up") LOL
I can't tell from the way you jump around, but it seems to be cramped. That was a small pool for a main pool as well. Could we have a follow-up that is more of a flow and not cutting to each section?
@@dreamlumos3046 I (Taylor) actually started laughing the first time I saw what our editor did to "Ice Ice Baby". And I'm honored you enjoyed the lifting segment, I worked hard for that one.
Video taken 6 months ago that'd be June and it's that Windy and gloomy there. Gee going on a cruise wanting a beautiful white sand super Sunny gorgeous Beach ⛱️ guess sandals 🌅 isn't the ticket we're looking for. Sorry
Such a shame that the C/O beach was reduced in size by so much. It used to be much larger and wrapped around to where the OTWB's start. Being Sandals' only C/O option out of all their resorts (they're really missing the mark on the "Nakation" possibilities) many prior loyal customers, especially those to just SRC have moved on to Couples & other resorts that offer more for C/O travel.
We love the new OWB, and even though it did limit the size of the C/O area. They did keep over half of the C/O area, but at some point if the demand isn't as high for a C/O feature it would be in Sandals best interest to provide something else that more people can enjoy. If that means that some guests explore other C/O options it seems they are okay with that.
Jamaican athletes such as Merlene Ottey, Dionne Hemmings, Asafa Powel, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, 'Shrimpy' Clark, Trevor Berbick, Donald Quarrie, Usain Bolt, etc. were just seemingly regular persons; before they became famous. I may appear to be a regular person today. But if given a fair chance; Recorder Revolutionist, could also become a worthy asset to Jamaica, W.I., & the world at large. It's my turn.
Nicknack blove, what exactly does that mean? Could it be that most people go to a place like that for privacy, for exclusivity, for excellent service and dining experiences, and for rest and relaxation? The way this kind of resort is organised allows it to have a large number of guests in total, but not feel crowded or noisy, except in the entertainment spaces at certain times, when those who want a more lively experience can enjoy those spaces . . . while others can enjoy quiet and relaxing venues far from the light-pollution, the noise, the traffic, the crowds, and the air-pollution of the big cities of the world.
Too much like a hotel trip n not even as exclusive or as beautiful as alot of them right here and where you are? Weather is too much like being in the States
Nothing special. N why is it so dead? Where is everyone? Bad business huh. Ashame. Was looking forward to sadlals for seems like forever more than disappointing
Pamela Brigham, the way that Danny presents tours, be they of cruise-ships or of resorts, often has the advantage of showing you venues when they are NOT full of people and too noisy to hear the narrative. It is actually astonishing how many times he got access to places when they were empty, nearly empty, or not open to the public....
Looks really old and dated. Seems like more of a Florida-type property. Like the newer sections. Gonna talk with you about some other Sandals resorts in the near future we are considering. 👍

@@HarrTravel Yes, and so is the PRICE! [wink] Be sure to be calmly seated before looking at the final figure....
Amazing. We loved this resort. The bonus was being able to take a Shuttle to the other resort and enjoy the same Amenities

@@jaramieblack3310 Thanks for the reply. I've read that on Trip Advisor as well so now I'm looking at South Coast
@@brentalbrecht Ochi is the best one we have heard about. Nobody has said anything bad about it.
South Coast is really hard to beat. And don't rule or Negril either. The staff and the small beach resort atmosphere is awesome.

If you get a regular room that is not on the island, can you go over and hang out at the island swim up bar?

The Sandals product is adults only and their Beaches product is family friendly :)
