    Can I just give a shout out to the surveyors, laborers, architects, builders, designers, civil engineers who back in the day built these railroads!
    Imagine the determination & will that it took to build through rock mountains, gouges and over rivers without the technology we have today.
    My hat is off to you!

    That sucker coming across that trestle looks like the beginning of a movie 🎥 😉, beautiful scenery once again 👍

    Unbelievable catches! It literally does not get better than that with the curve, amazing bridge, and beautiful mountain range background! Brilliant stuff!

    Another great video, thanks. I can see that these bridges have a fascinating attraction of their own too. For all their engineering prowess they are still dwarfed by the backdrop. 🇬🇧 😀👍

    Tyson! I really do like your videos of trains. The sights and sounds bring back a lot of memories from when I was a kid. Mom, Dad, and I would pace trains from Calgary to Field BC. This was all done before the internet and cell phones so I only have my memories. Keep up the great work 👍👍👍

    Thank you Tyson , another excellent video.The shot of the train crossing the bridge at 5:50 to 6:00 was real nice looking as you went slowly back to wide angle after zooming in on the front of the lead unit. I like the angle as you look up at the train as it rumbles across the bridge. All other views were spectacular as well. Beautiful scenery in the mountains. Have you ever visited the Keddie Wye ? Do you have any videos of it ? I watched a few on UA-cam from other channels and they were very good.

      Thank you very much for your respectful comment and support to my channel! I have not been there I just looked it up on google looks like one really nice spot to visit and watch train action! have you been there? I have also wanted to visit Tehachapi loop.

      @@TracksideTyson your welcome and no I have not been there yet but it would be on the list if I ever go out west someday. The Tehachapi Loop would also be interesting as well. You probably would get some good shots from the hillside.

    Tyson, thanks for the videos and answering my questions. I really appreciate it. Is it just my eye or are the westbound (downhill) trains going slower than the eastbound? If so, is that due to residual flood, speed restrictions? Thanks. Cam

    • @TracksideTyson
      @TracksideTyson  2 роки тому

      At this time of the video there were no floods going on this was previously before, and you are right its mostly downhill going westbound on the CN Ashcroft/CN Yale Subdivision. Thanks for the comment and support!

  • @canuckster24
    @canuckster24 2 роки тому

    Is the first train classified as CN because it's manned by a CN crew? I think I've read somewhere that trains going to the Northshore whether CN or CP get manned by CN crews and to the Southshore / Deltaport are manned by CP crews.

    • @TracksideTyson
      @TracksideTyson  2 роки тому

      I know this area is a little complicated crew wise but the first train was a westbound which should have been a CN crew, but trains a little closer inland may be with CN or CP employees sharing trains. Thanks for watching!

  • @marioxerxescastelancastro8019

    What do the hoppers of the first 2 trains carry?

    • @TracksideTyson
      @TracksideTyson  Рік тому

      First train was loaded potash From Saskatchewan, second was loaded grain coming from the same place. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
