For real, like its the only reason im not going back to bonelab, we still dont got proper armed npcs, and the omni projectors having the worse ai than in boneworks it seems like it? Idk but i really dont find bonelab as fun as boneworks sadly.
Bonelab has so much potential? Yes they could add some crazy things but actually if you think about it they could add the original museum basement and a new parkour level that takes place in the tower level form boneworks would be really cool and some more levels that take place inside mythos and in boneworks most areas were blocked off but I want to be able to explore beyond those areas and have massive levels
Also when ur going up the elevator the flush level it was straight out of the original half life. I got out my pistol because I was convinced crabs would start jumping down just like half-life
Boneworks was initially created as a possible half life vr game until valve decided to just make it themselves. That's why there's crablets, null bodies, and saberlake security, they were so far into development that it was just best to remodel and rework the head crabs, half life zombies, and combine soldiers than scrap them entirely and start anew. Just a fun fact if you didn't know it.
From what I read from the clipboards there was a lot of talk about the boneworks city district which I really hope they add to bonelab as a sandbox map or even part of the story, but from my experience in game it just seems weird how the game always points towards the city district like it’s being added in the next update (mainly at the start we’re the elevator is supposed to take you there) I just hope they continue the story into the the city district
The “city district” they refer to is actually the place you start out in, the main menu. If you walk around and investigate it you’ll see a bunch of components.
The hidden keycards and rooms has honestly given me a reason to do another full playthrough with a fresh set of eyes. Great update. Hope more levels or secrets get added.
I just hope that they fix vehicles making you move like crazy and that they add the option to disable the dynamic standing and seating system since it doesn’t let me physically crouch.
I think the helicopter in the bridge level is a reference to half life 2 (which the devs are a fan of) in the half life 2 level you climb through the underside of a bridge with helicopters and enemies trying to kill you
I found them all but it took me a while. I only cheated on the skeleton one because after hours of searching it turned out since I was on the public beta and not the full update it didn't spawn for me
@@seththepotate good news is eye has been alluded to for some time, given they are plastered all over Boneworks and heavily associated with the monogon logo. It's the Bonelab version of "Don't Fence Me In" originally made popular by Bing Crosby back in the 1940s. This version is on the Bonelab soundtrack "Labjams"

If you do end up fighting something and having fun, the general jank can really take you out of it. As someone who plays Battle Talent, it’s really hard to adjust to other physics systems. Also, the inability to slice limbs. Really breaking the immersion and power fantasy lol.

Since you seem to be left handed I would recommend when using the M1 Garand to hold the rifle near the front as normal as if in the shooting position and when reloading use your left hand to insert the enbloc clip into the chamber as that rifle would be way to heavy to hold by the grip with one hand and would look much more realistic and aesthetically with your right hand holding it closer to the center balance of the firearm when reloading! Great vid!
