It looks like it's a funny glitched interaction between the ghost state and the grind rails that half-cancels the ghost state, allowing Peppino free movement but not removing the "break metal blocks on contact" flag
If this level had it's own song, it would probably be called "Unearthly March", "John's March" or "Thousand Blues", maybe even "Thousand Shades Of Blue"
A testament to how good this level is. it's not just a copy paste with a few WAR elements thrown in, it's a full on custom level that looks like it'd qualify as DLC. I REALLY like the midway point where he eats the Satan Pizza and goes to town on those metal blocks. Really using elements from all the stages make it more like a "Crumbling Tower of Pizza, Lap 2 edition". Very well done!
I really like how the second lap is just running back through everywhere you've been before, but now it being a waste-land, where no one lives. Like revisiting a place where a war broke out. IDK it feels very cool
I find it funny how literally everything that is required for a p-rank except for the combo and lap 2 itself is impossible if you decide to get it or do it during lap 2.
Amazing level, I love how it's not just a reskin of John Gutter but genuinely the structure is entirely changed to work wit this amalgamation, while still being recognizable as John Gutter!

I think that’s how they did the Lap 2 music. The start room starts the area music and the lap 2 room probably starts the Lap 2 music? The rest of the rooms have blank music, so it defaults to what’s already on.

It's a trendy bug in AFOM, basically, if you touch a grabby-hand as the ghost, then you lose the ghost, but you're perma-buffed for the whole level!
