I really like how the level pre pizza time is more of a slow paced puzzle solving platformer like wario land 3 with some mario maker feel to it. Kinda like you're actually exploring ruins and taking it slow and steady as to not get hirt. Then when its pizza time the level goes back to the pizza Tower fast paced escape gameplay. And the switching up the pathing a third time with the switch blocks for the second lap is just ingenious.
I know very little about level construction, but I adore the second secret, and the general haphazard feeling, like these are the only parts of the Tower that survived, and are left scattered about. Good stuff!
For aesthetic, and because you can extend the timer mid level, which is done on this level's lap 2. as far as I know, that's not something that can be done with the regular escape timer.
I think the 1 and only enemy was only there to fulfill the P rank requirements. Combo must begin before a room transition to qualify for a perfect combo
That last part with the lava seems to be the remains of Bloodsauce Dungeon, since it's the deepest level (literally takes place in hell), so having WAR music instead feels kinda redundant. Other than that, the level is great

This level is definitely not designed in the usual way (requiring a great deal more traditional platforming) but I won't deny it's pretty well made all the same!
i like the idea of a revisit to the tower's remains being a sort of post-game level. this really fucks though i must say the second secret needs a bit of fine-tuning, and maybe not having the weird pre-final boss song be what plays for the majority of the leve other than that this is pretty sick honestly. overall it's just really good with a bit of changing needed here and there
The level is a bit cramped, but it's way better then some of the other levels I've seen uploaded. It has some really nice concepts as well! It really does feel like you're exploring the ruins of the pizza tower at the first rooms of the level. My only gripe is the second secret, not even funny how slow it is imo. 7/10 level
Pizzaface would not even be there, he would just be a prototype at Pizzahead’s house? Remember, Pizzaface is just a robot and probably got destroyed due to the tower getting destroyed.
This is a level where I really like concept (And some of the puzzles like the 2nd secret), but in execution, I’m not too crazy about it. Simply put, this level is just too damn slow. It’s a lot of cramped, squished together rooms and/or platforms, with barely any room to build up a sense of flow or momentum. I get that Pizza Tower is all about knowing when to speed up/slow down, but it feels like this level is actively punishing you if you try to got any faster than default speed. That one room with the saw blades and the rising/lowering platforms is especially egregious of this. You do not put a section like that in a speed-based platformer, ESPECIALLY one with a combo system.

It's pretty obvious that the level is the remains of the tower after it crumbled. I will ask you this, do you expect the remains of the tower to make any sense considering how big it was and how hard it must have crumbled?

Too many puzzles in and out of secrets where you wait for something to happen and have to maintain a combo through an enemy spawner. The cramped design is fine enough, some parts are quite good like War so it does make a nice challenge. The best part is the beginning, both from challenge and aesthetics.

Honestly. This isn’t that good of a level. Just above average. No offense but the concept was good but the execution was really not good. Too slow (especially for a speed platformer) Too cramped Lack of variety Too much enemy spam Not even the concept is done justice
Ok so I watched this after seeing a video about a horror doom map call house.wad and this just gave me chills because the mod is really creepy and unnerving and same fore this level before pizza time

It is because you can't deactivate it.
It's for aesthetic, so if you want a strict timer and john pillar in the level

Last I checked CYOP required pizza time to allow you to exit a level. So even with the war timer you'd be stuck unless John is destroyed
