Some of the best times of my life also cant forget them new england boys zampell refract some real rugged dudes sonny daggett one the toughest i seen lay bricks much respect to yall masons
the kilns I worked in were about this size. Passing brick for a 16 hour nightshift really sucked, so sore in the mornin. Totally worth the paycheck though
They are locked by themselves. Each brick has an slight wedge type shape to it. When you put the top brick in and lower the rig the bricks are held together by themselves pushing on each other. I used to rebrick rotary kilns at black river and dravo lime mines.
base on my experience closing of bricks is like a puzzel you need to find the closing bricks or the solution bricks to close the ring...either your in cement,power and steel plant

oldartguy This is the largest rotary refractory kiln on the continent. They process iron ore pellets. The bricks are locked and shimmed appropriately. I would know. This is my old crew.

Yes, this is a rotary kiln for Tilden Cliff Mining. Most of our products are used for Cement Plants or Lime Plants
