I would love to vote SDP as I agree with this party's stances on just about everything. Unfortunately, there is no SDP candidate in my area. If I lived just a couple of miles away, there would be. I'm in a pretty safely Labour constituency. My best choice is probably to vote Reform, but I am not certain about that. I am going to try and appraise the individual candidates' intentions on certain key issues, as well as party manifestos
Absolutely. I'd like Labour and Conservatives confined to the history books for good and our future to contain a regular rotation of saner parties like SDP, Reform, English Democrats etc. We could actually achieve something worthwhile if that were to become the norm.
It's a shame the SDP isn't standing more candidates in this election, there are many people who would vote for the party if they had a candidate to vote for. There are a lot of talented people either in or associated with the party and it is a well run party.
Maybe next time around that will be the case. I'm a card-carrying member of the SDP but will be voting Reform this time as it seems like the more realistic option. But if the SDP were as big of a contender as Reform my vote would go to the SDP. It's more about tactics right now as opposed to getting what I'd really like. I also want both Lab and Con to be out and gone forever and Reform gaining serious ground will throw a spanner in the works, bringing that closer to fruition.
Caught this with the family who are not political and just vote Labour out of habit. They were all interested and agreed it was a good idea.

I'm in the same boat with no SDP candidate in my constituency, but I am volunteering to help them with leafleting in a neighbouring one.
The sdp need to do to labour what reform are doing to the Tories.

The BBC are putting the SDP party broadcast on at 22.50 .on Tuesday 18 june
The BBC article on SDP tried to frame the party as being identical to Reform, as working for Reform in fact...
The establishment is scared
2029 SDP will be a mass party.
Well hopefully by 2027 time is running down

If they do well there will be more next time. Each costs £500 deposit.
I wish we could vote for SDP in Wales!
Would have my vote if we had a local candidate. Who knows, maybe I’ll apply.
Outstanding.
Excellent manifesto. It’s a great shame the BBC didn’t allow William Clouston more time.
SDP - the party everyone would vote for, yet the party everywhere isn't standing!...... 😏
