i think these McFarland My Hero Academia figures are really cheap looking But if you want something similar to an sh figuarts you can always try the amazing yamaguchi revoltech line, they have a lot of characters from animated movies, Comic Books, and of course Anime and Manga

Great list, but I got some runners on the cheap end. Tge ultimate legends demon slayer figures. Being shorter characters they dont look out of place with figuarts, and the anime heroes chainsaw man, and one piece line after the first 2 waves. Like you mentioned chopper and usopp are great. Sabo is fantastic if you want all 3 bros.
I agree with your sentiment over demonic and or gore driven material. I believe that such things are derived from the void that exists within humans and should be embraced and recognized but not glorified. It only leads to a unhealthy desire or detriment of ones psyche.

In humid or cold conditions the plastic sweats, mostly happens on the Figuarts . A little hit with a blow dryer gets rid of it
