why is it so hard for tenors *and other singers) nowadays to sing (pronounce) a clear, the most normal and simple "L" sound - as one says, say, "lilly" or "love", or "Latin" etc. If a singer is not good at merely hinting it without actually saying it (as you seem to be - which is very fortunate) one ends up hearing "Liy" sound common in Slavonic languages, such as in the Russian female name L(Y")ubov", word for "summer" (лето - liey-to) - or word for summer or in the capitol of Slovenia "Ljubljana". Out of its natureal contexts (esp. used in Italian or English (this deformed "L" sound quite repulsive - so to say: "blyuck"!
Nice video! Please don't use those bright white circles in the transitions. It's overstimulating and distracting, especially where there are quick successions of jump cuts. Thank you!
very helpful thanks so much!
This is wonderful! Man o man, you can sing your face off. Such a beautiful tone too.
Thanks a lot! Glad it helped!!!
Talk about Dies Bildnis, please!
great job! You should do one on il mio tesoro too, and those goddamn high sustains XD
very constructive guidance on this aria.
It sounds so easy when we hear you singing it... Until we realise it’s anything but... Very instructive though.
