~ "Trust in dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity. You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. To see a world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour".
Not sure on this, but I think this is from D"Arcy's "By Request" CD, not when he was with the Irish Descendants. OK, I'm nit-picking here, but just trying to get the credits right. Great job, D'Arcy .... as usual.
nice and very fine versuion but NOT Irish.by underrated brilliant songwriter .Billl Cadick, English, pure simple and through and through and as comment below tune 'pinched' by bill from tchaikowsky (and ALWAYS acknolwdged by Bill as such) without Bill not THEN knowing that Mr T had in turn pinched an itlaian folk song..credit where credit due have heard read so MANY silly pointless claims of Irish Origin for other people's songs..even Burns was apparently Irsh.................
Yes, please acknowledge Bill Caddick. Good friend of myself and my partner. He lived near Ironbridge in Shropshire. Sadly died about 3 years ago. We still keep in touch with his widow, Katherine Soutar Caddick, who is a great artist and illustrator.
