Another great video! Thank you for taking the time and doing such a great job covering so many different angles and shots! And thank you to the farmer to he did a great job explaining everything and what he did and did not like about everything! Loved hearing his input! And nice work guys
Fantastic video, thanks for filming this operation, i sit here in the UK watching with total envy that you get to see and enjoy these machines at work. Keep up the good work.
They check the drill over completely at each refill which he was about to do after he seeded the headlands. Lots of moving parts to keep up with for sure.
Its got to be great to buy equipment like this when ya are a farmer....after all planting 60' of wheat per pass sure makes planting big feilds alot easier
TOF has a 60ft and a 50ft. The 50ft gets down a few roads the 60ft cannot. The farm had a 9620RX, 620 Quad and two 9520RX narrow tracks. Now they have two 9RX 640s and two 9RX 540s.
is there a recommended speed for the combine to run the yetter stalk devastator for them to work properly or does it not matter. i've been considering a set for my operation
Speed does not seem to matter. They are running the combine at 4 mph. I just posted this farm harvesting corn with their S790s yesterday. I did post a video on the Yetter a few years ago when the farm had S680s. Here is that video m.ua-cam.com/video/itx-PQz9_Rs/v-deo.html I filmed a 4400 Deere on a 4 row corn head this fall using the sand roller. It did as good as a job as the 12 row head on a class 8 or 9 combine.
It would be nice to have a competition between 2 tractors of equal size and everything, but one tractor would have tracks, and the other tractor would have LSW tires. Compare things like initial cost, trade-in cost, repair/replacement costs of tracks and LSW tires, ride quality, fuel consumption, wet/muddy conditions, etc. The tracks have more parasitic power on the engine than LSW tires would. This equates to more fuel burned by the tracks, which equates to more money spent on fuel.
@@g_force3857 But do they have to take it down one lane rural country roads from field to field and under low hanging utility lines? Will theirs fold to 15’ width and often less than15’ overhead clearance?
@@formerfarmer1718 pretty sure the Australians farmers get looked after a bit better than us though… they don’t put utilities in the way or get them moved & plenty of big combines do go down the road in farm country with the head attached, this was west Australia and they farm on a massive scale !!! not sure about Russians though, only ever been there for a few weeks to have a look back when I was in college…
No till on this field. They are working some of their ground and seeding it with a 50ft 1890. Weather did not allow them to get all the corn ground disked ahead of the seeding window.
@@bigtractorpower oh ok, yeah I was sure there’s bigger seeders up here in Canada from JD, there’s much bigger from Bourgault and Seed Hawk but those companies don’t do any planters like JD
Hat’s off to the tractor operator. More detailed information about the equipment and operation than some in the past. Another great video.
Excellent video! He was great to interview.
Thank you for watching.
Interesting to hear his comments on the narrower tracks.
Another great video BTP. Thanks for your time to make these videos happen Thanks
Thank you for watching. It’s fun filming these machines.

Thank you Jason. Been watching your channel for over 10 years and it just keeps getting better and better. GO BTP!!!!🤙💪
Thank you Scott. Your many replies are appreciated on each videos.
I could listen to that guy talk all day. Should feature him more. Great video👍
Neal is a nice guy. He and his dad have been in few videos. Watch for His dad in an upcoming corn harvest video featuring an S790 on tracks.
@@bigtractorpower Does his dad sound exactly like him? I think I remember his dad being in a video from a couple years ago at corn harvest
That farmer really knows his stuff👍😉 the 9rx is a real powerhouse😁👍
I love this tractor. Great job again BTP.
Thank you for watching.
One of your best videos ever imho, thank you for sharing this and for everything you do in regards to this great channel.
Bearing out on the closing wheel @ 14:58 😂
Came here to see if anyone else noticed😂
Man do I love that color green it looks so familiar to me wish my grandpa was here he would be amazed at John Deere technology today
Nice rig! Great video,thank you.
Really interesting guy in the drivers seat 💺.
Great when you are up in the cab btp.
Great video btp.. 👍👍
Thank you for watching. Neal who is the farmer is a nice guy.
Really enjoying these videos with the operators perspective. Keep up the great work. I could listen to the operator all day.
I like that you show the result of the seeding, not only drone shots. It is interesting to see a close view of the work of the machine
Thank you for watching. I think it’s fun to shoe the results.
You are not as cute as Kate, but your technical expertise and enthusiasm is spot-on as always. Thanks.

Love this channel about all the different types of farm equipment Jason. I’ve been watching for about 4 or 5 years now.
Thank you. 👍👍
There was a bearing out on that closing wheel at the end of the video great content by the way

You gotta see this incredible machine in real life to truly get a sense of its size! It’s simply amazing!

@@bigtractorpower ty for your videos. I grew up farming and now watching your videos bring me great joy!
great video reminds me of the days when done it,and thats a long time ago.
That’s a 60 foot 750 no till drill!!! Old tech lives on 😀😄😁

Nice.....love the "BIG Stuff"...!!!
It is a good sized seeding team.
Currently sitting in a 9360R and a 42’ air drill. Kinda thinking I need an upgrade!
Nice setup good video brother
Thank you for watching.
Great machine! Nice footage and information 👍
Interesting that the farmer mentioned that his tractor was a trade in from the big farm you film on and store your tractors at. Pretty cool.
Yes the two farms are friends. When one farm trades each year other area farms end up with the one year old machines. Good supply chain.
Amazing 😱😁👍💪
I’m a IH guy but John Deere does make some nice equipment
I like red too but Deere has some great machines.
VERY GOOD THE VIDEO
That is a big machine
that tractor and drill is a little bigger then my 20 foot 1590 and 8110 tractor great video
Cool set up. I would like to film an 8110
Great video

I did not get to film it this time on the road but if I recall from past videos it’s about 18ft wide and 13ft tall. It takes up the whole road.
Great.
Thank you for watching.
You came to film us. We have a Krone big X 700, and 2 V12 and a lot of ford trucks We do silage
Yes indeed. You guys have an awesome chopping crew.
James Dover 👍.
Another great video! Is this T.O.F. farms? Have you heard of anyone in your area, having a 9RX640 on order yet?
It is TOF. I expect to see new 9RX 640s next year. Most farms roll over in June here going into wheat season.

Each pass is nearly 1,3 mile long??
I was thinking .8 based on an 8 minute pass at .1 mile per minute. Regardless it was still a long field.
It is a long field. It is at least a mile. This is the home farm. It has a huge field around it.
I’ll likely be proven wrong somewhere down the line, but they surely can’t get any bigger and still get it down the road!
Have a look at what the Australians & Russians have… we’re there little brother with 60 footers

No ground work before seeding?
No till on this field. They are working some of their ground and seeding it with a 50ft 1890. Weather did not allow them to get all the corn ground disked ahead of the seeding window.
Why do you plant a higher rate of wheat than beans in your area?
Soybeans grow faster and put on a large canopy. Less seed is needed to cover the field with plants to harvest.
Where's matt ?
Matt is in this video I posted today m.ua-cam.com/video/yhMc9lS1U9U/v-deo.html

It’s weird JD don’t build bigger air seeders
They offer a 76ft hoe drill and 850 bu C850 commodity cart. Unfortunately both of those are too big to transport on Kentucky roads.
