Never sleep in an abandoned building. They come at night. Creaking at the window. At 12:01 a.m. If it turns cold, they are there and never reach beneath the bed.
Came across your videos just by pure chance. Thought I'd watch one just to see what a young lady does living out of a 4R. I have to admit, I got completely caught up in your lifestyle. It made me wish I had the sort of occupation that would allow me to work remotely, so I could do the same, at least until I exercised the wanderlust out of my system. Well, I'm much to old now, and have deep roots that keep me in place, but that's ok, that's the plan God seems to have for my life and that sits well with my soul. I get to enjoy what you share with us, all your adventures and challenges and you're easy-going nature; it's all beautiful and I want to thank you for allowing me to come along for the ride. You're brave, bold and beautiful and I have nothing but respect for you. Please, be safe on your journys, and God bless you young lady.
Marfa & Big Bend National Park are pretty amazing - Alpine as well - Last time I tried to go stop by Balmorhea State Park it was closed for renovations. It’s amazing when you realize how high altitude it is out there.
@@NoPerfectPlan Should you be near Colorado Springs there is a road-drive to check out. It's an old gravel maintained road connecting Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek. Starts behind the zoo skirting Cheyenne Mountain.
Spent a lot of my youth climbing around on the Rockpile and made the scenic loop a number of times with my family. Hope you enjoyed your expedition through that part of west Texas!
Grace I just noticed that your colors match the nature surrondimg you You have perfect camouflage with the nature. As long as you stay away from Prada heels!
You have a great personality !!! You can make watching paint dry fun.!!! Only watch you and your beautiful dog recently you both make a great pair. Appalachian Adventures Guides, Trail Name, 9 LIVES 🐾 🥾
just finished watching your amazing video...thank you once again for sharing, your adventures...actually, watched the video twice; in case I missed something...such breath taking views
I believe the fenced in area used to be a solar generating facility which was there in 1997 when I visited while in town to deliver a large boiler for a 30 acres under glass greenhouse that was built to grow tomatoes which I think is still in operation.
Great video!! Very entertaining and great shots!! I died when you played the song clip on the snake 🤣 Would love for you go meet Foresty Forest.. another UA-camr. 😀
Okay, So the Prada store intrigued me…Ends up it is considered a piece of “Land Art” put together in 2013 by the “Art Production Fund”. It is not a functioning retail store but they did get permission from Prada to use the logo etc. Probably one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen.
It is a really cool installation! I met the man who donated the land. He was actually cleaning the windows. He has been there since 7am and I probably showed up around 2:30ish. Great guy. And very patient!
One thing you will need to "plan" for before you drive into Mexico. Your standard car insurance does not cover you in Mexico. You need to add on , if available, or purchase separate car insurance.
Good decision not to go into Mexico. I'll take Colorado over Texas any day as far as geography. Another nice video you convinced me to stay in the mountains.
Part 2 (Camping in a Ghost Town) will be posted tomorrow! Hope you enjoy!!

Crazy, I’m thinking our paths crossed on that Monday?! Fort Davis state park has some great trails and camping. Enjoy the oddity of West Texas 😊
Proceed to the route!!!!!! LOL!... I'm dissapointed you did'nt run into any Scorpions, to go along with the snakes and tarantulas! ;)
Colorado was as my #1 pick for state side army duty because I too had those magical feelings about the mountains. Got that duty. Loved Boulder.
The Colorado mountains are special.
