Cracking overview. Really appreciate it. Like the look of the Yukon jacket. Have the others but love the sound of an insulated one. The caffeine worked at treat mate. Great info to the very end. Cheers mucker.
Linking in to the EMT type line…I’ve long thought Helikon Tex could have done with doing some items in Hi-Vis yellow/orange with reflective panels. Such as the Windrunner and Tremontane tops. They would be handy to have in the car in the case of an accident.
The SAR vest makes perfect sense. It strange it took them so long. I wonder if this is a toe dip into another line. Personally I think these will sell like hot cakes
Unfortunately not my friend. I previewed the SAS Smock at IWA in 2023 and it arrived in September. I have a feeling as they're both winter jackets/shirts they'll arrive around the end of the Summer/Autumn time
Hoping you can help me out. I’ve been trying to work out what backpack that is that you are wearing. It looks like a Helikon-Tex one but is there any chance you could let me know for sure the make and model of it please? Really like the look of it and want to do some research on it and possibly purchase one. Thank you for any assistance and information you can give.
Hi, more than happy to help. It's the Rucker Long Range 39L from GORUCK. I've had a lot of people asking about it so I've added both EU and US links in the description for this content. It's an amazing back pack. Build like a brick out house and also has plenty of room too. I was able to fly to Germany and back which was great to have the extra space getting through security with it
Sorry this is waaaaay off topic but are you wearing the Garmin Instinct 2X? Looks huge. I was thinking about getting this model, but my wrist is 6.5" so I wonder if that would be way too big for me.
Ha ha ha... that's what I love about UA-cam. I can make content and viewers will ask off topic questions 😆 Yes, well spotted. Amazing watch for sure. I think you'll be ok with a 6.5" wrist. I've compared the Instinct 2 my buddy owns against my Instinct 2x and the difference isn't huge, however the difference due to the larger battery and solar panel definitely is - ua-cam.com/video/nQAl0XocIb8/v-deo.html Hope the link to my content helps
@@MoorlanderEDC That's good to know. I know what the Instinct 2 is like so that gives me an idea! Thanks for the link as well. I'll check out your review! :)
One last question sir. How do you feel about Garmin 2X vs lats say a ProTrek PRG600. Analog style solar powered Casio watch with ABC functions (and temperature). It's around $250 CAD, does not need to be tied to your phone, and has those functions when hiking. Only thing with Garmin as much as I love the look, the price is a bit out of my budget.
Whahh! Tks again from PL !

Nice! Can't wait for more Helikon goodies!
You and me both! 😆
Thanks mate!! Great vid
Glad you liked it!
Can't wait to have these in!
😂 Me too
i´m looking forward to the duck hunter camo, it is still an effective wetland/grasland camo
They just need to make the wind runner in more camo patterns.
Great vid mate, what does the yukon retail at at do you know?
Not sure on price. My guess will be around the price of the Pilgrim... however, that's a pure guess. That's mainly down to materials and structure
What is known about the timelines for the availability of the showcased bushcraft items in stores?

Please tell them to make UTP Flex in Tiger Stripe and Multicam Black.
I second that
Hopefully soon as they're expanding the Tiger Stripe lines due to the popularity of them. More of a 'when' rather than an 'if'
