The Nuggets will never do it because that Denver offense works perfectly in the regular season as currently constructed so there is no reason for forcing Jamal to increase volume. But again, at 16 shots a game, which by the way was the most in the team, he could do it. Heck, a lot of 3rd options in the league like Tyrese Maxey and RJ Barret are basically taking that same amount of shot, Murray as number 2 in a team with a non ball dominant star like Jokic can easily get to 20 shots IF the team wanted to, as shown during this postseason.

100% murray is under rated, he is so so good when it matters
Giannis had 38 and 20 in his elimination loss and got killed lol
Jamal isn’t better than kyrie, he’s properly rated.
Nick, I am with you on this one. Those guys don't know the game the way you do.
2:32 Bru , well said 😎👏🏼
What people don't understand is that Jimmy isn't a scorer, he's a Defensive Superstar/Leader that CAN score. He has only been doing a lot of scoring because the team needs it, he steps up.
Nick thought Jimmy would be the best player on the court is just nuts
Really tough debate this episode, great points all around.
Hard to know if Murray would be as good in the #1 spot. Also this is an outlier game for Jimmy, but fair to say he isn't Steph/KD/Bron level yet
Chris came ready to ball today
Brou is totally correct on this one!
Y’all need to chill out on the jimmy butler hate. He had a bad game. He might have been gassed from G7 @ Boston. He has just led the heat to one of the most improbable runs in nba history. Give him a game to get his feet under him.
I also think Jimmy is in case of emergency break glass. If the team is out of reach save it
Football season can’t get here soon enough.
Nick to say he thought jimmy would be the best player on the court is laughable
Nick is so biased it’s insane. If Tatum put up this stat line game 1 of the finals, Nick would call him a fake superstar, would suggest the Celtics trade him, and would completely destroy him. Jimmy does it, he was trying to get his guys involved. Jesus Christ Nick it’s hard to listen to you sometimes man.
Chris is right.
Chris was right on other players getting criticized other than embiid
Jamal Murray has been that guy since he dropped 50 on Kyrie’s head 3 years ago in Denver.
I’ve been campaigning for Jamal Murray as a top 4 point guard in the league for 3 years.
As it stands
1. Steph
2. Luka
3. Jamal
4. Dame
Luka is a crybaby
i think i disagree when he said if denver had jimmy butler they’re better because jimmy doesn’t shoot the 3 well so him and jokic wouldn’t play as good together as jokic and murray because they compliment each other better
It’s the Finals, Nick. An “off night” is a BAD GAME in a time like this
Wow Nick, if Jokic played like Jimmy last night, you would have shredded him to bits
Jimmy clearly injured.. but y'all get paid not to say that right? Or is y'all really just that slow?
2:14 this whole spiel from Bru about Jimmy not being a top five player is exactly what I’ve been wanting to hear from someone in front of the cameras. Anyone player on that top fiver pedestal has a horrible game like Jimmy had in game one, they get nearly crucified for it
"Theres no limit to the # of ppl that can be in line" this is a wilde fact! yall havent seen the lines in seen and been in lol

Jimmy was historically good against the Bucks, it was one of the best series of any player of the last decade especially considering the opponent, but since then he’s been just “pretty good”, he hasn’t been consistently dominant the way Jokic has been. He’s been slowing down series by series. It’s fair from Broussard to criticize him like a superstar if we’re gonna praise him the way we do other superstars.
He did get injured against Knicks though so you need to add that context.
@@danielday3374 Fair enough. Maybe that’s still lingering.
"Get him a commercial then" this guy's so mad murray's not in a commercial LOL
For 3 years ive been saying jokic has the most help out of Giannis Embiid and Luka and everyone ignored it. Cause 'The bubble doesnt count'
Broussard is right
Brou is too harsh on Jimmy. This man has brought a team of undrafted dudes to the finals. He had a bad game, give him a break.
On the other hand, yes. He’s been slowing down. That Bucks series may have taken some tool.
I don’t even get why he was so riled up for when clearly everyone knows he played terrible
It’s about keeping the same energy 🤷🏽♂️
Brou's impromptu paternity test results were it for me 😂😂😂😂
What happened to Jimmy Butler?
He got shut down, it's called defense. More specifically, Aaron Gordon.
This is a series. I really felt like both teams were feeling each other out. Boxers don’t throw punches at 100% first round unless they are low IQ. Butler was seeing what Denver was about and too Denver’s credit they didn’t show much to beat them. Game 2 will reveal more urgency on the Heats part. Look, both teams really want it. It’s going to take some grit to get this ring and I wanna see it. There’s gonna be some blood before the end of this. Heat in 7!
Just no.
@@mayatorres5858 guess you’ve never been to South Beach Miami😂 Different down there. We were supposed to lose game one in Denver. We’re trying to steal something. Wait to we get that Denver squad to South Beach. Every stripper down there wants to meet their acquaintance 💯
Butler wasn’t feelin’ nobody out. Ya boy was tired. I don’t see him talking with confidence the way he was with Boston. Boston was a bust. Miami beat them at their worst. And no I haven’t been to Florida. I don’t wanna step a foot in that country.
@@mayatorres5858 Divided we fall. Step outside the borders of each state and city and you’ll find the richness of The United States of America. Why this country of 50 states is special. I’ve been to Denver Colorado. It’s beautiful there and clean. Heat in 7.
@@dionshaewishum4179 inspiring but we’re already divided. Denver is beautiful though. Good luck with your team. I’m from NY ✌🏼
If Murray can turn himself into a top tier defender then he can be the best guard I’m the league. Better than Steph and Kyrie. I mean…what can’t he do that they can?
Jimmy's third game in his past 6 that he has scored under 17
This is because Nick is a fire brand to shore up his takes that he is making right… here is how he soft-peddles the situation to minimize his wrongness
Nick hates Jamal Murray too🤦
The kd hate and shade is funny af
Nick would have ripped Jayson Tatum to shreds if he had this type game LOL.
Butler will struggle this series. Denver is too big!! Gordon and Porter are both 6'10... Switching is no problem for Denvet
" The Idea, The Idea " so annoying when he says that.😂
Nuggets have not left 2nd gear since phoenix? crazy good.
For how much Nick Wright wants to boost Jimmy butler for his production in the playoffs, Nick Wright in the same turn wants to say that Jalen Brunson is better than Jamal Murray, when even with a Superstar like Jokic he is producing throughout the playoffs a 28/6/5 statline on fantastic efficiency. Being a Mavs fan too, I loved seeing Jalen become the player that he’s become, but to say that because Jalen now has a more dominant role and leads a team now means he’s better. That’s to be seen, especially when the Knicks still have other offensive options to go too(even though Randle’s a choke artist, we get that) Jalen wasn’t a one man army the way Butler has been at times in the postseason
Recency bias makes fools of us all
Broussard is absolutely right any other superstar would’ve gotten killed
Lol I friggin love Bru
Put more people in the line! 😂😂
When Jokic and Luka were getting bounced out they didn’t get ripped. Just magically rose to the “best player” category. Interesting
is it just me, or does nick wright look like tom green with an office job
this man jamal murray is a beast..come on tho, he’s playing next to the best player in the league lmao. are the nuggets good without joker? thats when you can talk about a player getting recognized
Are the nuggets good without Murray asked yourself that first
@@raymondthomas1574 thats true but wildes is arguing that he isnt talked about like jimmy,, hence my point in the original post.
Nuggets as a whole is a beast, they knocked out my lakers and o believe they might even get a sweep in the finals. but when did they become the crybabies of the league. all i heart is no one is talking about us, no credit this and etc its a lil annoying for this to be the context of the best team in the nba rn
