Wow yes holding AD on mostly every down there was even an arm block frustrating no holding calls?
You know holding can be called every single play in a game of football right? The refs only call the most egregious calls of it at this point otherwise you would never see a play completed.
@@CombatIneffective Donald never gets holding calls. Even if it’s blatantly obvious . Holding calls that refs make are sometimes not even that obvious
i wish they would just do the entire games like this. its fun learning more about the game and what actually makes players special
How grabbing a guy by his neck as he runs past you isn't a textbook holding call I'll never know
The refs were pretty sloppy this game, I saw several holding calls against the defense that weren't called
if a d-lineman uses a rip move, holding isn't called.
@@heyboygeorge6359 hmmm pretty sure that's not true at all bud. But good try

Not only is Donald going against the best Guard in football, but also one of the best Centers in the NFL on every double team…

Aaron donald dominated that matchup Big Q held Aaron donald a Whole lot
ua-cam.com/video/RaHw6ElcHD0/v-deo.html
keep up the nelson tapes my fav player not just oline hes must watch oline for sure
In all fairness this wasn't AD vs Nelson, this was AD versus the entire Colts Offensive line.. In truth Donald will most likely never win defensive player of the year honors again because he just isn't getting that production on sacks and stops behind the line anymore due to him being double teamed.. Fortunately all this double teaming should mean opportunities for other Rams defensive players.
Yeah, but at least everyone still knows just how good AD is, even if he doesn't ever win DPOY anymore.
Literally the Clash of the Titans!
Honestly the only ‘real’ football left being played is in the tremches
Love this breakdown. Once you slow it down, you see what Aaron Donald goes through and how truly dominate he is. He will have that 4th DFP in no time....
ua-cam.com/video/RaHw6ElcHD0/v-deo.html
Lol they double Donald every play, this is not Aaron Donald vs. Quentin Nelson, he would have eaten Nelson alive if it were 1 on 1
So great to see someone go toe to toe with Donald
AD got held so much this game
Im a UK NFL fan - been a Bears fan since the NFL was first televised here in 1985/86. Im still only a novice when it comes to analysing the game - I know rugby much better - but I can see similarities in the 2 sports today in that the 'big guys' are being recognised as some of the most valuable and highly paid in the sport. QBs (in rugby they are fly haves) will always get the most but without a great O-line or D-line you cant compete
Best offensive lineman? I don’t see Zack Martin out there?
That’s because he’s on the cowboys this isn’t 2016 buddy boy
Zack Martin hasn't been the best Guard ever since Quenton Nelson came into the league.
@@jnastyyeet4627 Martin > Nelson facts over feelings
Only cowboy fans think it’s a fact. Everyone else knows Nelson trumps zachary in every stat

Get it Right!! AD is mostly DOUBLE TEAMED MOST OF THE TIME. NOT 1 on 1!!💯
This is the sports analysis that we need from Sports networks...not loud and boisterous opinions from hosts
People are quick to forget that Zack Martin was the only Oline to consistently handle Donald.
Stop it please. Cowboy fans try to get a win by any means possible.
@@kenpaacchi What? Zack Martin is better than Big Q lmao
@@kenpaacchi go and watch some tape than come talk to me. Cowboys haters will always find something to discredit any cowboys players.
This was an awesome matchup!!
I think Quenton Nelson won this matchup. Rams might have won the game but it would've been way worse with anybody but Big Quenton Nelson
No way. Q lost nearly all 1 on 1 battles. Donald had 5 TFL, and whiffed 2 free sacks. Donald was double teamed all game and still caused absolute havoc. Not to mention donald hit wentz 3 times as well.
@@evanchristensen1334 those 3 times weren't Q fault. And Donald struggled everytime except for like once in the matchup against Q. The tackles for loss weren't Q's fault. I don't give a crap about Donald's stats in this game unless they relate to Quenton Nelson
@@StealthOx49 there was maybe 2-4 times it was a one on one and went either way. Other than that it was nelson double teaming AD. The colts oline did not play well. Hurt his qb big time. Literally
I loved watching this battle !
Aron won that battle nuff said
Big Q is also coming off an injury
Donald won the battle against everyone else. He never got by big Q
@@bradenhouser4805 so is Aaron donald lets not forget he hurt his ribs last season so miss me with that
@@saucyissus6798 🤣🤣🤡 what are you talking about you can't sit here and tell me that dude has stopped Donald every time they play he holds Donald or he always has to have help with a double team if he is better than AD then why can't he go 1 on 1
@@FightOnSC_youlllikethis every pass rusher gets held. There is a reason qb throw it in under 5 seconds and it's because the oline is almost always at a disadvantage
This is what makes FB #1.. Matchups like these.. Thanls |3aldi

Great matchup
I thought Donald was getting held majority of the time.
Even better that big q is coming off an injury just like the rest of the whole oline
He was bro if you really pay attention you'll see every game they hold Aaron donald
You thought right.
@@bradenhouser4805 so what? Does that mean if he wasn’t injured he wasn’t going to hold? Don’t care if Nelson was 100 percent it was going to be the same results of him holding. Nelson is a beast but Donald is generational talent.
@@anthonysavage7309 Shaq Mason of the Patriots whooped him all game long in the Rams Patriots Superbowl. 1 on 1 all game long. At 6'1 315lbs Mason is a very tough matchup for Donald. Donald was a no show in that game. Mason took his bread
AD is so smart and very technical and mixed up that brute strength of his. very dangerous player 99 club
I'ma call a draw. There were plays where Nelson locked Donald, but there were also plays where donald got in. Only problem is Carson Wentz got the ball away in time
Donald completely destroyed everyone else lol
Yeah but Donald is getting double team.... I saw a plY yesterday where he was triple teamed...let's see Nelson go up against him one and one for a whole Game!
How can you call it a draw when Nelson had to have help no offensive lineman can handle Donald one-on-one if you think they can name them and I mean the whole game not just for a play
Quenton Nelson and Aaron Donald are among the best of all time at their positions.
The rams are my favorite team
If there is no holding call on the OL against Donald in any game, then the Refs are watching a different game
Surprised he didn't mention all the holding calls QN had on Donald lol. Watch all 22, you'll see.
i saw a couple & at least one block in the back in this video during "nelson highlights"
He was making it tough for Nelson, moved away and made life hell, shows how great Nelson is. Good lord two dogs!
