I remember this season :( the start of the end. He didnt pass the ball accurately anymore, lost lots of passes and ball, looked for at faults situations when he lost the ball, no sprint nor speed anymore at one on one. I knew like many, that something wasnt right with him :(
06-07 is a very underrated season in his career, he had perfect technique although not the same speed and was still very close to his prime

That wc loss really killed his motivation. He was still in shape enough this year to have a couple of great games but the drive was gone
