- Today I go through a very quick guide on privacy hardening Firefox, and how you can improve your browsing experience. Blocking ads and trackers can make your browsing experience faster, more private, and safer. Feel free to share this video with anyone wanting to improve their browsing experience. Thanks for watching!
I got the idea to make this video specifically from a comment on my previous video. @ahmadalhaddad90 had said "Criticizes others for there works is a trend nowadays without giving the people Alternatives or doing something better than what we Criticize theme for," and to that I agree, so I felt that I should show what can be a much better alternative to the CCleaner browser. I appreciate Ahmad for respectfully providing his opinions and criticisms; open discussion can be very insightful and helps us improve.

Let me know in the comments what kind of videos I should do in the future.
I'm aware of the weird static issue in the audio. It's caused by my microphone and seems to be a common issue with the Seiren X. I noticed it during editing and will have the issue fixed as soon as possible. Apologies to anyone who is irritated by that.
First view First like . Continue the hard work Bro❤
Btw:
You can set your Addons to auto update
This lets the extensions automatically update and you dont have to update your filterlists manually
Ever since Firefox enabled the store for android again, most of these work for the android app too!
could you make a video on making brave more secure?
@@freazeyplayz7290 that's a good idea. Yeah, sure. Thanks
o7 thank you fam
here's a few important flags you may want to consider
extensions.pocket.enabled false (completely disables pocket)
browser.preferences.moreFromMozilla false (disables some suggestions)
browser.compactmode.show true (enables a more compact mode)
identity.fxaccounts.enabled false (disables mozilla login and sync)
Thanks for the suggestions. I wanted to ensure that the video was very easy to follow and understand so I didn't go super deep into configuring things, but for anyone wanting to take it a step further, modifying these flags is a good idea
@@TotallyNotK0 there is also a website that will prepackage a config file you drag and drop into the Firefox user folder and it does way more.
you are using windows, nothing you do is private lol
True lol
@@TotallyNotK0true but using these kind of things still makes you little more private and free and is pretty much just as convenient so no reason not to do it. Plus it’s best practice to be privacy conscious as possible I think
@@javlin8506 that's true too, but if you really want to be let loose from Microsoft and telemetry and all that, your best bet is to just switch to Linux. You're basically never going to be 100% detached from Microsoft using Windows
