There's a movie called "Pride, Prejudice, and Zombies" with a similar lore premise being a napoleonic era zombie apocalypse tho the story itself is kinda awful and focuses on more "ninja" things and entirely British

Random fact: the last one standing is the Navyman from earlier in the trailer.
However, there seems to be a discrepancy in where he is. First time we see him he's outside, presumably just after he reloaded his weapon.
Then when we see him again, he's inside a building and injured.
Of course, this would be pretty rare as the navymen are actually the most useful and most survivable soldier class of them all in-game, usually preferring to be outside in open spaces as they're better off moving about.
Also neat detail where after when we see his arm bleed, he gets up, holds his chest.
Once we see him shout a battle cry there's more blood on his uniform.
retreating into the building was clearly a last resort as we could see his comrades had fallen and he was severely injuried, the bigger discrepancy would be him wasting his blunderbuss shot (which takes forever to reload) on a singular zombie
Another random fact: on the scene where the navy man dies, You can see he was at the exit of hougoumont, presumably trying to escape.
Also another random fact: the British Line man was the same one that killed the man with a lantern and saber
Yet ANOTHER random fact: the officer at the start was the same officer that was killed by the british line infantry runner.
As a Seaman main i gotta tell you, we hide like pussies like the rest of the team

fun fact: the seaman charging in the end of the trailer hinted at a new charge ability in the officer class,which has the same battle cry.
The trailer is old af that when asked they said they got inspired in the trailer, they didnt hint it.
bro, this trailer is more older than the officer update. It is probably not intentional as this video is almost cinematic.
( 0:15 ) The last man knew his fate was sealed due to his injuries and barricaded in a dead end, with the undead pounding on the door from the other side. But the man determinedly rose from the ground, clutching his sabre sword, telling himself that he would not go down without a fight. With a grunt of effort, the undead break through and the man lets out one last battle cry, ignoring his wounds and charging towards the enemy.

The Fisshermen were distracted by a river and started a fishing competition.
The Seals couldn't fight cuz thry can't go far into land neither can the Orcas.
The Bagpipers didn't understand French so they just played the bagpipes and did nothing.

The Underpaid Employees of both sides did a Union, refused to fight and stole the Ice Cream Machine.

The cutscenes in campaigns along with this trailer are so cinematic. You feel like you are in a good zombie horror movie
If you know about the Napoleonic Wars, knowing the history and all, as well as the nations. This is something I would have never expected, knowing the timeline of events and the battles and all of a sudden, zombies. As each Infantrymen from different nations work together when they were probs fighting each other in brutal battles days earlier. An example, never thought Id see a english man attempting to help a french man.
The British soldier was trying to shoot the zombie, but another came behind him, besides, the bullet would’ve came through the zombie and hit the Frenchman

Glory kills
Losing endless
ETC.
That would be cool except for the glory kills because it would make you vulnerable in middle of a horde

Glory kills would not work since you would kill 1 zombies out of the hundreds you fight so it’s useless

Bro the sound effects are so good. I love when the guy I the beginning gets mauled he let's out a blood curdling scream. Like it genuinely sounds real. Also the zombie noises are pretty good

It's also part of the lore. There is literally no more room in Heaven or Hell. Those souls who died from the war became a zombie. They can hear, they can think, but they can't control their body. Their souls are trapped in a rotting corpse on autopilot.

It's honestly a really tight zombie horror shooter
It's been about a year and Guts & Blackpowder has changed a LOT since then. It may seem a bit much but I would suggest an updated trailer to show the viewers some of the new things in the game. Maybe introduce some of the NPCs, show the shop weapons, new regiments, etc.
