I don't think I've ever listened to a podcast as attentive to seemingly minute details as this one.

As always, entertaining podcast. I cant wait for the "veneering Australian timbers" show. Many thanks for making the digital plans available. I had trouble getting there though as I clicked on the members/project plans area. Any chance that a more obvious link can be made? Also, I have had trouble finding the associated articles for the plans, since the plan page does not show the author or a link to the article (I note now that it does, for some, at least have author, not for "colonial garden bench" though. A search for this article gave me 3868 results).
Keep up the entertaining work, you have been an inspiration for me in both my home woodworking and for projects to work on with my high school furnishing class.

Making your own veneer is horribly time consuming but very rewarding. The problem comes when you have to add up the labour hours and pass it on to the customer. I usually only use shop-sawn veneers for furniture in my house.
