I've watched every bit of footage of him I could find because I've never seen a young player with such tremendous balance, body control, low body strength and leaping ability. For a kid that's not exactly massive in stature he has TREE TRUNKS for legs. I was trying to understand why he's got such a strong foundation until i watched this video; PROFESSIONAL SKATING answers so many questions about his leg strength and incredible balance. The fact that he hasn't even been playing basketball seriously for 4 years makes his natural abilities even more unbelievable. If he keeps up his drive to reach his goal of "being the best basketball player ever", he will undoubtedly be a superstar in this league, because he has that type of talent. In my opinion, we got lucky getting him at 7.

yeah heads up, Canada has a real good team lined up for World Cup next year with SGA, Murray, Barrett, Dort, Brooks all signed up to play. And believe it or not Kelly Olynyk is a star player when he plays international ball for Canada. International ball is lot more physical than the NBA, so they also have 7`3 Zach Edey. 2028 Olympics Canada will be a real problem along with USA of course and France.
So I'm confused though. He's been dreaming of being in the NBA since he was a little kid, but he didn't even start really playing basketball until later in his teens? And he had to be convinced to do that instead of football? I feel like the realistic part of his dream didn't even really start until the NBA scouts came after him just a few years ago (or less). People saw his potential WAY before he ever did. Whatever it is, this guy is the most optimistic and positive thing to happen to this team in a long time and it couldn't have come at a better time. REALLY excited about this season and seasons to come!!!
