Top review Chops, but you are forgetting one thing it doesn't matter what camera or intercom you have, it's the banter and conversation you are sharing it with that makes it so much more entertaining!!!! Nice one Mate!
Good review. I've had this for over 3 months and and it's been absolutely fine for what I use it for. All I needed was 1) bluetooth device to connect my phone to so that I can answer calls/listen to music 2) a decent camera to use on my commute in case I get hit by a car 3) An intercom to speak to friends on ride outs. And it's just perfect for those things. The only problem I've had with it so far is microphone has started playing on me. It's basically making a lot of noise so I suspect the cable or mic itself has broken.
I'll try that when I'm not lazy and after cleaned and lubed my chain :-) Brilliant £10 hack with that battery pack though, I've been looking for a solution for that.
What mic are you using ?my Sena 10c won’t work :( mines sounds really muffled and terrible but yours sounds sooo clear !also where did you place your microphone?
Hiya mate, thanks for this really informative video... I'm really impressed that you can charge on the move, because I have the SENA SC10U for Schuberth helmet and as soon as you plug a power pack in it cuts out!! So this is a result... Here's hoping the soon to be released 10C Pro can do that too :-)
thanks for the review nicely detailed is there editing software for this product? How does one go about editing footage I noticed everyone at fuel stop had their helmets on inside here in Australia by law you must remove it (which is under review) cheers ☺
Hello billi, it doesn't include any software to edit but there are free software out there. I use Sony Movie Studio only cost £30 and does a great job! Yeah no legal requirement to remove your helmet, some garages like you to take them off but I avoid those places :)
Billi Bunter I think there is a way to format it, and I have the link to the video on it on my channel called " First Test of the Sena 10c...". It is a recent video that I uploaded recently.
Great review, but how the hell did you get the android app to work with the 10C? I've tried with mine but just keep getting a black screen, is there some voodoo trick i need to try so it will work?
+Lamb Chop Rides Using version 1.5 of the app which says its compatible with the 10c. Have read a review on the play store that the app does not work with the latest android os (Marshmallow) fingers crossed Sena will sort this soon as the 10c is a great little all in one device
reviews are certainly more watchable when it's in a smooth english accent. Sure beats Americans telling me "it's frikkin awesome!". May want to think about quitting your day job Chops ;) Wombles a walking disaster haha either that or his comedy act is really coming along. Can I ask…how much does it cost to feed and look after a pet Womble? only they look like so much fun but I've also heard bad things like they go a bit ravenous over a nipple and also pretend to leave their debit card at home when it comes to paying all the time
It's not the financial cost in keeping one it's the emotional cost.. Very needy, constant reassurance and petting also required. But saying that highly amusing and always draw a crowd :)
he did seem very needy when I met him, constantly throwing his bike on the floor for attention or the second time throwing other peoples cameras down the track. Think i'll stick to a Mogwai, at least they can do cool shit like spawn devil Mogwai out their back with added water or even better….look like a miniature Rambo
abhirocksin I think so. There is a way to sync up with a non Sena, and I think it is a matter of making both devices pair up when they both have flashing lights that alternate, and then when they are paired, both lights should be a solid color.
no it will not save battery life, you have to put the camera on (not recording) to use tagging. if you want to record you put the cam on, then press again to record or tag
Ok then good sir, if I touch your bum, will you answer this question for me........I want an Intercom unit, and a day to day 'just in case' camera, not for vlogging, not for making videos. Do I go for the Sena 10c, or the 20S + a Drift Ghost S?????
That's tough as I've not tried any of the Drift cameras but sounds like for your needs the 10c could be perfect. The 10c does offer a neat little solution and the video tagging is cool so is recording the intercom over your video. Do just wish the video quality was a tad better on the 10c though... Guess you can't have everything :)
The timing of this review for me... Perfect!!

Haha aye good point! Need to find me an amusing riding buddy then... :p
I'm digging the new video intro! Keep it up!
Cheers Michael!
Excellent review, thanks a lot. Wish the 10C EVO was coming out soon, but can't get confirmation on release date.
Informative, useful, practical. Thanks a ton LCR.
Thanks Wes :)

Thanks Vedat the perfect unit for you then! Try on of the other mics in the kit, see if you can squeeze the boom mic on there perhaps ?
I'll try that when I'm not lazy and after cleaned and lubed my chain :-) Brilliant £10 hack with that battery pack though, I've been looking for a solution for that.
Movie like intro and ending, what software used to make these videos? Great review by the way, newly subscribing.. 👍🏽
great review LCR - very comprehensive.
Cheers a renegade :)
Very nice Chops, very slick and informative, thumbs up👍🏻😎
Cheers Nelly! :)
Thanks for the good tips on the juice stick. 👍

Did they ever update so you can talk to more then one person?? Im strongly considering the 10c pro. Thanks.
Looks good. Do you know if any helmet cams have a mini monitor (As opposed to a phone App) as an accessory?
Do you mean a separate monitor or in built one?
Lamb Chop Rides
Separate one. You know, something small that would let you see what the camera is seeing. Wirelessly perhaps
thanks for the review
nicely detailed

I am using Windows movie maker at the moment...but I need more info how to trim and split..lol...but working on it...
Cheers
Billi Bunter Hmmm, have you looked for videos on Windows Movie Maker?? I use Cyberlink Power Director 14 as my editor of my videos.
Very nice review, but the battery life and recording quality are too poor for me to invest in this.
That's how a review should be done! Job's a good 'un.
Ride Safe fella
P.S. Where's the Blade rebuild vid good sir?????
Thanks buddy, yeah been slacking with the blade vids sorry, me bad :(
Great review, again!
Thanks Michael! :)
Great review, but how the hell did you get the android app to work with the 10C? I've tried with mine but just keep getting a black screen, is there some voodoo trick i need to try so it will work?
Hmm I had no issue.. Have you installed the latest app version? The old one doesn't support the 10c

Ah ok, I'm running an old version perhaps why.. Sure Sena will sort it soon as quite a major problem!
excellent review, as always,
Thanks Liberty :)

Thanks Gav :)
Great Review!
does this sena 10c connected intercom with another intercom device which is not sena ?
abhirocksin I think so. There is a way to sync up with a non Sena, and I think it is a matter of making both devices pair up when they both have flashing lights that alternate, and then when they are paired, both lights should be a solid color.
It's a shame about the group coms not being there, baffles me when a company has a good thing then never implements it into a newer product.
Yes, I've been told it will be included soon but I was very surprised it wasn't there, same with the voice commands.
Lamb Chop Rides I guess they have had numerous negative feedbacks about it, it's whether they will update the firmware for ir.
Does video tagging save battery life?

subbed for number 1s and number 2s XD
That awkard moment when you upload a video and black lace was playing..
thanks
