You seem to be like me if your sent to do a job you do your best to get it done well done At least you laughed at getting down and dirty Andy from buckfastleigh
Carry some old quilts in your tool box throw them under your drive but remember when you are bogged your bogged don't spin the wheels stop get out get a shovel and a tow chain i would spend days digging out road trains as a young man it sucks getting stuck i know a lot of tricks that will make it easier stick with it it part of the job
Oh hell!!that took me back to when we used to tip our loads in Landfill sites, mud upto your knees,so much better now.Fair play for doing that skip, just old school, get the job done.I was doing it 40 years ago.Good luck on the Ro-Ro.
When they built Milton Keynes it was 100 times worse and trucks went down like submarines. We lived in a new build end house just like the one in front of you when you reversed down with a drainage ditch just like that one by the front door. Wellies were never tall enough and every dip in the road was so flooded with liquid mud it was too deep to see the kerbs, and you had to drive through sections by keeping centred between the lampposts. When Bluewater was being built they had a Police station (porter cabin) there even while the site was being cleared and a police woman stationed there who patrolled the site said it was smashing, like walking all day knee-deep in a chocolate blancmange.
Hi Chloe, when it comes to the mud I would have rung back to the office and taken pictures, fair play to you for getting stuck in and getting the skip picked up and proving to them how bad it really is. Sorry to hear your losing the Beast, I would have been gutted myself, may have to change my job in the new year, I'm ok on the dustcart but the office waste rounds make my back ache, customers have no idea how heavy paper in large quantities can be ! Have a good week
fair play getting stuck in with the mud but if been me i would stood my ground n refused untill they sorted it out as for roro now you on the big boys toys going be intresting see what you get pick up in them as company i work at has2 one is steel one is aluminum
Yeah that’s fair enough, now looking back that’s exactly what i should have done. I’m looking forward to full time roro once I get a proper truck😊 Thankyou
I think if your weren't filming, you would have refused, that is not a safe working environment. But fair play in taking it on. Site manager and construction group need to take note. Logan doing a great job on the pressure washer, plenty of room to grow into the hi Vis Thanks for sharing
So onto new things then Chloe? Nice, i hope it all works out for you. My HGV class 2 days are over. DVLA have refused my renewal on medical grounds, so i now drive a brand new van delivering chilled goods on more money than what i was getting on class 2. It all gets better as time goes on, they say. All the best to you and family
i felt so sorry for you chloe falling in the mud , i bet got some laughs back at the yard ,so sad your losing the beast , once i get my class 2 hgv license this video has given me a insight what ill be facing ,keep up with the great videos
Haha it’s all good… it was to good not to share 😊 the site have all seen a picture of me covered in mud, so they get a kick out of it every time I turn up 😂that’s great I’m glad I can assist Thankyou 😊
Mud is part of life on a farm, so it is the norm here, but I think I would have said no to that, but, hey well done for doing it. Good luck with the new outfit. Take care.
I’d of done the same to try and get the skip out and got covered in mud, and couldn’t not laugh at you when you almost went A.O.T straight in to the mud 😂😂😂, could start a new trend, knee high mud boots 😂
I whould have told them NO WAY forget it feel them to get a few load of stone around the area or tell them to pull it outside with a digger or forklift
Hi chloe & logan, hope logans teachers were not watching this as logan sounded fine to me🤣🤣Hope he's ok,I think most people would have just refused that skip tbh but your a different class chloe🙈😆sorry your leaving skips but I'm sure we'll see you at some point doing the odd one,🙂👍
Not been around for a while and was shocked to see you making Logan do some proper work for his 10% after that muddy job. Cutest jet washer operator ever. Seriously though some of the sites at the moment are just stupid for mud but where you had to work there was not only muddy but dangerous and extremely badly managed to get to that stage. Have had one similar a couple of months ago, and not only had to wash my legs and boots off to take them off but lorry had to be dragged out with an excavator. We've been spreading seasons greetings so we looked like this for December. ua-cam.com/video/KCW30fBj2s8/v-deo.html Even met Tom a few times looking like this trying to brighten up his mornings. Happy New Year to you and yours Chloe.
But where’s the fun in that balls to H&S all the time, the only way to get through to some people is to actually get the job done and then show them what you had to endure, as I’ve been to jobs before where the company had a 12 yard REL skip that needed emptying and previous driver went up and gone, nope, not doing that, to dangerous, needs moving, and the company did nothing about it as could t see what the problem was, so I went in got the R.E.L skip out and emptied and the pulled moved it to a place with less issues, then and only then did the company site office manager see what the issue was and sorted it out there and then, and next visit the bins and the skips location was all sorted and no other issues at all. Plus that is what a helmet is always for aswell protect the old brain box
@@DaveM_thetrucker Where I work we have 4 REL's all for cardboard, quite often it's awkward getting back onto them as there is so much crap close by that the rear steer tyres can get damaged by or no room to put the chains on because of pallets in the way, all we do is take photos and send them back to the transport manager, those who print out the rounds have no idea how much room we need
@@elizabethmaybrown6715 been there myself in that exact situation anything like then yes, as there was 1 company in particular, would stack things around the REL, and also no room to get to it even if shifted the stuff around it, so took photos, both for the office and on phone of the area in detail, and the customer took 4 months to sort the site out, as we kept on refusing to pick the waste up till it was sorted or skip wagons moved it
sorry chloe no way shud you have took the truck in there it was a health and saftey danger there cud have been a hole you cud have gone down and bracking a bone or werse ,,put your self before the job
You get no thanks getting destroyed like that ,get them to hook ur chains or scrap the ground ,frick no consideration for u leaving your site like that ,think of your kid if u get hurt your out of work .
Well they weren’t getting the picture unfortunately but it worked, site is now clear… not a spec of mud to even go above my feet 😊 but yes I agree normally I’d refuse 😊

Hi do you have any wellies

That’s good they did that, we just get told it’s only a little mud lol
@@SkipChickSW yep the person in the warm cosy office only see abit of mud but your the one in the wet clothes keep safe out there babe
Cant say I'd like to buy one of those houses... Going to be a 'bit muddy' in wet weather!
