I saw him perform at The Make Guthrie Weird Fest, and I was completely blown away by his live performance and amazing vocals. If you get a chance to see Parker Millsap it will be worth every moment. He is phenomenal. I normally avoid writing comments, but he's just too good.
I used to be like a lot of other people who said it's all about old music. Nobody's good today. I just listened to these guys on Music Roots. They Are Good! Thanks for sharing!
My wife and I saw Parker at Austin City Limits 2014. He's pure alright. Listen...shades of Robert Plant but he's all his own for sure. And the standup bass - Mike and Dave on violin/fiddle are right there. The lines were too long to meet them, so here's my tribute. Thanks!
great song! that's the great thing about etown--you may not like every one that's been on the show, but you'll find some gems, and they're all worth listening to.
Dang, son! What do they put in that water in Oklahoma??? Some of my fave artists are Okies (Leon Russell; JJ Cale)...now here's a new one that should set the world on fire!
+Crystal Longdon Good one Crystal. This song is one proves it. Dag, how 'bout that bass player, and that fiddle player? Big power house of a group. So nice to hear today. Or now a days - that's mountain talk, in case anyone was wondering.
Saw Parker at a little church in east side FTW, drank wine an first time to see this wonderful guy sing ! What its all about!!!

Discovering Parker Millsap and this performance just now, daaaaamn.
Just saw him open for Houndmouth in Louisville last night and... wow!!! I hope to be hearing more him soon!
Thanks Parker.
This is the freshest pure talent I have heard in decades. Huge future for this young man. Keep the sidemen as the complement of the trio is perfect.
Saw them Fiday night in Boston. They opened for Houndmouth. Mesmerising.......

J'adore cette version et je ne me lasse pas de l'écouter... I love The Blues !!!!!!!!

Tres sweet suite, mssr millsap!
Hope they tour to SOCAL!
Wow... what a set of vocal cords. I suppose it's been said before, but I thought of Robert Plant when I first heard Parker.
This is a cover of the Mississippi Fred McDowell song. Very bluesy.
Blistering!
So overdone it’s more soulful to know the original from Fred mcdowell the beauty is not in the bells and whistles
