Thanks a lot for all the update about Anambra state. Am happy to see the development and hope to see more. Cant wait to come to my state and see it with my own eye❤❤❤❤
How do u convince anyone to move from diaspora straight to anambra? Like buy a house and live in this dusty no trees open gutter city. Tufiakwa. Thank you bro for showing us the mess our state is in
If you ask me, i will say the state is not in a mess but needs serious improvements in road construction and environmental cleanliness. Thanks for coming around
It's virtually in all the roads of anambra , simply cos anambra govt doesn't sweep it's road. They construct road and leave it for rainfall to wash it off . Which is very bad . Irrespective of this tiny roads here,we can make it clean with provision of walk ways. England ,UK ,this is a typical road ls they have in that country, but it's very standard.and clean.
All these abnormal things will point out things that unfortunately don't appear to bother most Nigerians including the governors. Nigerians are already used to open gutters and no pavement and dirty roads to the point that if you complain too much about it they will start having issues with you because they don't think it is a problem. It's unfortunate that most of these governors have traveled to developed countries and still can't plan a better city despite their exposure.
You should visit Ebonyi state to see what good roads are supposed to look like . No Foreign contruction company was used, Umahi the then governor used local direct labour build all the infrastructure that has transformed Ebonyi state. The Julius Berger you keep promoting is "colonial hangover" construction firm that charges multiple times the real cost of the contract and always fails complete on time, that is if they havent abandoned after collecting most of their payment. Case in point is that very basic Second Niger Bridge and approach roads JB failed to complete in six years and $1billion. You should the see the longer magnificent modern suspension bridges other countries have built for half the cost and in less than 3 years.
But you talk as if you dont know the politics behind award of contract. For now, they are the best in road Construction and already established in Anambra state. Berger suffered paucity of fund during that project.
@@YangaLife Paucity is relative, because they overcharge what they call paucity of funds is actually enough to complete the project 2 times over. It's our bad luck that JB is consider one of our few options and is entrenched in Anambra. Just go to Ebonyi state ans see what could be achieved using Direct-Labour.
Actually ..we need standard..go to Nairobi ..All there roads are far better than what Julius begger are doin in Nigeria.. Any company can do a good road ,if u mobilize them and give them standard. It's high time anambra should have D4 of any roads b4 construction.
@@YangaLife I think Awka millennium city is a private investment though partner with state government, that does not mean that Anambra state government is building a new city, moreover those who owns plot of land in that estate are building it with their money
You are talking about a city built by government alone? What government usually does in a new city is to construct a central drainage system, build roads, etc.The partnership type is not a bad idea.
I like what you are doing, I just wish that the government will develop our place.. That is why you hear me talking this way, it pains to see our states looking as if it was just created yesterday.
The roads in southeast can never be standard because so called foolish governors in the region is waiting for a yoruba man or an hausa man who reside in Aso rock in the name of federal government to come and do the roads for me forgetting their is nothing like federal government or Nigeria per say what you have is your home land make it good and foreign investors will come
Our roads are poorly kept.this express way should be immediately reconstructed,we should not be waiting fir fed govt all the time.i tooks very dirty with red sand everywhere.
I will like to visit Anambra state.
Great!

Imo state is the nest
Correct
Just few modern houses in awka and awmabia 😢
Building wise, no issues aside building close to the road.
Amawbia is a town in Awka South
@33standardtv, Awka is also a town in Awka South
I keep wondering why they leave that portion of red sand on the road for over a year now. I don't understand soludo at all 😔
Me too. There supposed to be an organize road cleaning system

The road Dave constructed are poor roads. The mall and airport are poorly constructed too.
At this stage we are still talking about road because of bad and corrupt leaders, when others are building new cities
But Anambra is establishing a new city presently, which is Awka Millennium City

That is all. The governors that really wants to work does any important road Federal, state or locsl.

Not a new idea when state attends to Federal roads.
Anambra has no special place like other states. Everywhere looks untidy
Yet other states troop in to Anambra for stay.
ụchụ! where are you from?
