      He was always moving to the beat - one could cut the sound and tell what’s up by just watching him .
      His inspiration to other guitarist is incalculable.

    An incredible chemistry between these musicians, a groove that never lets up, and rising emotions that take me by the throat. And besides, they have fun! Absolutely fantastic!

    Didn't know Rolling Stones bass dude used to groove with Herbie. Just goes to show you how universal the expressions of music, particularly the low-end, can be irrespective of genres. Roll on Brother Daryl...roll on!👑🎸🎵

    Wild performance. I love at the end there how the band are just so focused on keeping that groove, but Herbie in his solo keeps throwing rhythmic bombs and trying to steer them in another direction. Creates an amazing slow burning tension, finally release when Herbie joins in with the groove at the end.

    Great concert but the video producer and the cameramen don't seem to be listening, or they have no idea what's going on. Herbie is soloing and they show everyone else. What a shame!

    Quite hard to look past that horrendous DX7 “rhodes” sound. Thank god it was passing phase. But yeah, I also sold my Rhodes back then and went all DX7 (+TX7 x2).🤷🏼‍♂️😄

      True.. though to me Headhunters = S/T and Thrust. I suppose Maupin and Jackson did also play on Secrets. But man, those two albums.. such a vibe.
