Falcon Eyes F7 vs Aputure AL-MC vs Boling P1

- In today's episode we review the Falcon Eyes F7 Pockelite. This is a pocket sized full RGBW panel with full HSI control and around 20 special FX modes. If you know anything about our channel, you know that we are especially fond of these pocket size lights (and some of our highest ranking videos are about them!) and have a ton of them.
We break down the pros and cons of the F7, the accessories it comes with and do a little bit of a comparison between the brand new Aputure AL-MC and the Boling P1 which has been around for awhile.
This light is useful in a variety of situations from run-and-gun shooting to narrative / cinematic lighting setups. Super pumped the Falconeyes sent it over for review.

Great review. I’m in the middle of a review on the Viltrox RGB light, then I wake up and see this this morning. Great minds think alike.
Yessir. With more in store.
Thanks so much for this review / comparison, I've been debating between getting the mc or the pocket lite & already decided for the pocket lite, but man this review confirms I was right and didn't know about this light having the most effects, Thanks man 👌👏👏
Glad to know it helped.
Dang bro, you read my mind. I've been collecting a BUNCH of these pocket rgb lights for a major showdown.. still waiting on a few deliveries though, haha.
Can't wait to see it. I know you're gonna give that light meter a workout.
I've been wondering about these lights since the MC just came out, nice to see a real-world use comparison!
Glad I could help!
I am still rocking the Tarion TL-10’s.....they are just so bright. I want to upgrade to these smaller lights, but other than form factor no need just yet. Would love to see a shoot out between all these lights. I got these Novostella RGB flood lights, but unfortunately the RGB side is not as bright as the TL-10’s so I don’t think I can get them to replace my background lights
I'm still using those from time to time. They just pump out so much light!
The build quality of this one is what interests me outa the 3 you listed, most every other RGB light I see is plastic so having a solid frame would be amazing!
Yeah. Build quality is amazing
Great video as usual Alex!
Thanks Nelson!
Great Video! Keep up the flow Warrior.
Thanks Desmond
Cool I been waiting on this. On all the rgb lights I've seen. I think I'm gone take a gamble with CameTV p20r ...thanks again!!
Thanks for reminding me. I been meaning to buy that
Cool lighting kit man!
I agree.
Another super nice video from Alex Minor !!! 😄 And I still find it exciting who won the RØDE Wireless Go ❤. Today the winner will be announced. 😱 But I think that's coming. 😍
I'm going to send out a community message later today.
@@AlexMinor Hello Alex Minor,
I am very curious who won this time. And I wish you every success in the search for a winner! 😄

I plum forgot. Thanks for the heads up.
Lets go to the 3K subs boys!!! 😄
YYYYEEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!
Nice review. Can you dim the brightness of the effects on the Boiling P1? Thanks
No. It's one of my only complaints about the p1.
Thanks. It looms like it is the same issue with the Falcon eyes F7 then.
ALEX MINOR IS FIRRREEE!
Thanks, bro! Feels good to be back.
Great vid man! Just wondering though: the Falcon Eyes seems to be quite on pair with the Boling P1. Which one would you recommend out of the 2?
I personally love the Boling more, but it's really a toss up between having magnets built in and having that cool mounting arm on boling. Boling is slightly brighter.
@@AlexMinor Thanks a lot man, appreciatie the quick reply. Got a tough choice to make.. ;-)
ive been wondering what is the mounting arm used for?
It can be used to mount the light on a cage.
