I love all your content, but why are you promoting these type of brands? Like SHEIN and all that, common, you know that they are just fast fashion brands. Worsening the issue of a global rise in textile waste, making the global warming and involved with child and women slavery. I would prefer you to work with thrift shops, more interesting and unique clothes.
They are promoting because they are being paid to do so. Buzzfeed is a company after all, just like SHEIN. Thrift shops couldn't afford to work with Buzzfeed. So basically you need to stop supporting Buzzfeed just like you've stopped supporting SHEIN. They've done several collaborations with questionable and outright harmful companies like Chik Fil A which continues to support conversion therapy groups, hateful and harmful against the LGBT+ community. And yet Buzzfeed still puts on a facade of allyship and support. Buzzfeed sucks.
This plus SHEIN constantly steals designs from small, independent and often sustainable brands. They know those companies mostly don't have the capacity to fight them. Although Wilde Mode took SHEIN to court and won their copyright lawsuit!

This is an honest question. How high up in sizes a company must go to be considered inclusive?
They could have sizes that match other companies' sizes. If they say 5x it should really be a 5x not a 3x...

The first girl spoke as if having "only" 5XL is fatphobic, yet where I live the biggest size I've seen was a 2XL, once. It's not realistic to expect an infinite number of sizes in every ordinary clothing shop.

Im sorry but in my opinion the fact that SHEIN goes up to 4-5x seems like a pretty darn good size range… as someone plus size I can barely find a XL much less any higher in most stores so I’m happy that I can buy whatever I want on their with such a big selection in many styles.
A lot of their clothes run small tho, I’m around a XL/2X normally but I have to go for 3X/4X to fit into Shein clothes. People who are actually those sizes probably couldn’t fit into those Shein sizes

Okay first of all ur literally an xl.. why are you speaking on 4-5x second of all its giving fat phobic babe what u dont understand is that their “4x-5x” is literally a regular 2x-3x which is what she explained And what people have experienced.. which is 1. unfair to the people actually looking for a 4x or 5x bc its too small and 2. Sucks for people that actually wear a 2x or 3x bug having to order a 4x-5x from shein making them feel bigger than what they actually are especially if you struggle with body dysmorphia… but please go off babe glad that you can find several styles that fit you well (:
i would agree but their 4-5x is not actually a 4-5x. the sizing runs extremely small, in skirts i’m an xl in most places but at shein i have to get a 2-3x

What do you mean "if it stretches to fit, it doesn't actually fit"?! The whole reason it stretches is to accommodate for different shapes of different individuals and so that it hugs the natural curves. The material is meant to stretch!

It's so weird to me that the girl is complaining that the biggest size is "only" 5XL. In my country I've never in my life seen any clothing store have a size bigger than 2XL (even XL is extremely rare). It's good to have bigger sizes, of course, but it's not realistic to expect every shop to have such big sizes. The way she spoke about that issue sounded like she was calling the brands fatphobic, but do you seriously expect brands to fit every single person in the world? I know it's annoying when they don't have your size, I used to be obese myself, but you also have to be realistic.

Jordan is pissing me off. Talking about how they don’t value or appreciate their plus size customers. THEY GO UP TO 5xl IN MOST OF THEIR DRESSES. It’s not their fault you let yourself get to a point you need something bigger than 5XL. Jordan is extremely entitled and instead of complaining that SHEIN “doesn’t value their plus sizes customers” maybe work on getting yourself out of a situation where that would even matter.

I'm obese and a size 18 and am losing weight. I have no one to blame for my size and Shein has an awesome size range. If you are a size 22+, in my opinion, you need to either make your own clothes or lose weight instead of bitching about places not having clothes for you. It is not normal to be that big. There are absolutely no health positives for being that large. There are certainly conditions like PCOS that make it hard to lose weight, but when you are that big, most of the time, it is sheer lack of effort and a result of poor choices. Shame on you As/Is for promoting extreme morbid obesity. I'm not saying the person on this video is a bad person. I am saying they are making poor health choices by being extremely morbidly obese.

The amount of times that second person said “cheap” was so gross. “Only 30 dollars.” My friend, 30 dollars is a lot of money for some. Pretty clear you’ve never had to survive on an extremely fixed income. Most people don’t shop SHEIN because they want to. And just the overall negativity in general… Yikes. Do better.
Shein can be a hit or a miss. Some are are like costume material but others are nicer. I rather go into a store and touch the material and try it on. If you don’t mind to gamble Shein can be fun. I think though XS to 5 X is cv pretty inclusive.
