Thanks for the review. I bought this beautiful MI 23.8 C1 monitor and I am very satified. Please note that it can be clocked up to 75-hz (and not just 60hz) frequency - which I did with great effect on light and colors. There is also a smart DSR option that make movies better than on TV. This is the best monitor I ever had. (I am not a gamer, though).

(I've been reading the comments in this video and read your response:) I also have a 13" Macbook Pro and recently bought a Mac Mini; I'm looking for a good display monitor that is budget friendly and I came across this model. How is the color accuracy of this monitor and how would you compare it to your Mac? Also, would like to know how it's going so far after a few months with it:)
Hi Gelala Land, thank you! For me, it has an almost near color accuracy with MacBook Pro's display but the matte finish of the screen and 1080p resolution makes it less detailed in person. Overall, I will still recommend this if you're into multitasking. After 3 months, the monitor is still working fine and I have no complaints so far aside from there's no VESA mount support. 😉

Hi Bastin, I'm also using this extended monitor with my 13-inch MacBook Pro 2020 (Intel variant) and a Ugreen USB Type C to HDMI cable from Shopee (shopee.ph/product/64922227/2559404944). I also have Apple's USB-C to Digital AV adapter but I prefer the cable from Ugreen for a more minimalist look. 🙂

Hi Zoran Bozic, I am using two MacBook Pro’s (both Intel variants) and I haven’t experienced problems with the extended monitor so far. I think this should also be the case when using M1.

Hi @GreatYamatanoOrochi, I am using this monitor primarily for work from home and for my personal computing as my extended monitor. I am not experiencing ghosting by the way. 🙂
After watching a lot of reviews on this monitor, it's still not clear to me if the cable included is HDMI to HDMI or USB 3.0 to HDMI. Shopee and Lazada description isn't really that helpful since they only indicate that there is a cable included. I think more than the review of the actual monitor or whatever item, compatibility or connectivity should also be emphasized. Anyway, thank you so much for this review. I appreciate how detailed you are. Keep it up! 😉

If you don’t really require graphic intensive performance, this one will satisfy your needs. I also use mine at work and personal stuff like editing videos and I am greatly satisfied with this extended monitor. Just set your expectation that this is only 1080p, not 4K. 🙂
How do the colours on this look? The colour gamut isn't given anywhere so can you make s rough estimate how good the colours look compared to your macbook?
Hi Gaming 707, the colors almost look identical to that of my MacBook Pro's display but is only 1080p plus the monitor has a matte finish. If you're into gaming, I wouldn't suggest this one. 🙂

I also love how minimalist this extended monitor feels. It has a decent and sturdy build even the body is made of hard plastic because it has a steel base and stand.
I personally use this with a 13-inch MacBook Pro 2020 but please don't expect the monitor to look as clear and as crisp as the Retina displays of MacBook and iMac as this is only up to 1080p and 75Hz only.

Actually, mas okay ang LED compared sa LCD pagdating sa eye strain since they emit less blue light which is harmful sa eyes natin. Sa personal experience ko naman, never sumakit yung mata ko dito sa monitor na eto kahit abutin ako ng 12 hours sa work. 🙂

Hi Eton! Yes, this is an external monitor for your desktop or laptop computer. For me, modern looking etong Mi 23.8" Desktop Monitor 1C dahil sa slim bezels at stand nya. Sa resolution naman, okay na okay ako dito kahit gamitin ko sa Final Cut Pro. Pwede mo din sigurong i-check yung Samsung LF24T350FHEXXP 24" IPS 75Hz or HP M24F 23.8 IPS HDZ 75Hz. 🙂

Hi Jesuo, I've been using this monitor 5 days a week or more for a year now and I haven't encountered any problems so far. I'm only using this for work and personal stuff but I'm not into gaming so I really cannot tell. This is limited to 60Hz or 75Hz only. 🙂

Hi Robin, I personally use a 13-inch MacBook Pro and so far, super satisfied ako sa performance nitong monitor plus mas madali na mag-multitask. Wag mo lang siguro i-expect yung display nya to be as crisp as the Retina display sa Mac mo since 1080p eto pero other than that, okay na okay sya for me. Thank you and stay safe! 🙂

Hi Marco, 1A is the version with a thick stand while 1C comes with the slim one. For the specifications, they are generally the same except that 1A is heavier. Yes, I have two 1C monitors and they still work fine. 🙂

Hi Mario, it’s really worth it if you won’t expect too much since the resolution is only up to 1080p while 60Hz for the refresh rate. It also has no VESA mount support but other than that, it works perfectly for me. 🙂

Hi Darkenix8895, I am not that sure about 30Hz as my current input device (MacBook Pro) is only supported by Mi 23.8" Desktop Monitor 1C when using 50Hz, 60Hz and 70Hz. When using 25Hz and 30 Hz, the monitor says "Out of range". I think it's better to bring your PS4 Slim when buying the monitor so you can test from their display units. 🙂

LoL mine monitor has 75hz
Hi Sully, this monitor is advertised with 60Hz refresh rate but when using MacBook Pro 2020 (Intel variant), it can output 50Hz, 60Hz and 75Hz. 🙂
