Does the monitor need a pc to be able to start the monitor or can it be without a pc?
The monitor needs a signal from the HDMI port to start.
It can be any device with hdmi output, even a phone.
Does it have an aux port?
All shown in the video. Don't know what an aux port would do, it doesn't have soeakers.
Should I return my xiaomi monitor? Its a bit hazy and pixelated especially with text
Try clear-type setup in Windows and check the resolution should be 1920x1080
I have a problem when raising the hz of the monitor, when I do it an interference is noticed in the right zone of the monitor
Try to use it at 60 for a while and see. I probably have it set to 60 now.
When I tried 75 I didn't notice anything strange.
Maybe shows after some time or your unit has a problem. Return it if you can.
@@IONHowTo I have it set to 72hz right now and there is no problem, when it reaches 75 I get the error.

How long have you used it? Is it still ok so far?
I't's fine, lacks some extra controls or usb ports but for the price, a fhd 24" monitor it's great. Panel is good quality. No stuck or dead pixels.
I wish it was a 27" 4k but that's just me wanting more.
Very slim bezels can easily be used in a dual monitor setup.
Mine started flickering on the far right when I tested the RGB

I had this monitor for more that a year and let me tell ya it's awful at first it was good but it will get waaayyy worst after the first 8 months trust me
I agree it's limited especially with customizations. Not many really. So far it's ok for me. What was wrong on yours? Also if you have warranty take it back.

I don't know if it gets hot. It's hot here so probably it is but it works perfectly

A bit more than the screen size. 24-25 inch with bezels.
Use as a tv?
With a tv box you could yeah but it doesn't have speakers or a remote.
