Fantastic news, thanks! I never thought I would consider Bluetooth IEM. You've just convinced me.
hobo reviewer, no; you represent most of us; normal people ✌😎👍
Good to be back brother :)
Another great review. Kudos. Can you please recommend some songs to test the sub-base? You've got a great ear & she has got a cool taste, what a pairing. She's a keeper ❤
Thanks for this review. Will check the specs as I am looking for a TWS that I can use for running with good sound quality
I like the Ifi style.
As you like the Fiios that much, I'd say you should try the Cambridge Audio Melomania 1+ as they have very similar sound characteristics but I think can go a bit lower in the bass. They're only 60$, so even cheaper.
FiiO is doing incredibly well these days! I have a couple of IEMs and a desktop DAC from FiiO, and they all are phenomenal! I think I’m going to give this a shot, too. (And by the way, aesthetically, I’m gonna be on your girlfriend’s side. Honestly…🙃 😉)
I like bass quality, and I like bass extension - but for me bass from good speakers that you can feel in your body - cannot be matched by any earbud, or even headphone. So, these FiiO FW3 do seem to be quite attractive, for listening to music.
I am guessing that the Status Between 3 ANC might be more stable in my ears? And some noise canceling and/or transparency mode is useful. But at 2.5X the price, then FiiO FW3 seem like they would be a runaway value.
Hi! What would you choose fiio fw3 or fiio fw5? 😊
I have these, sound exactly as described! but feel insecure on my ears with concern for easily falling out. Have tried all supplied tips.
'Is it worth it' I had no idea haha!
Thanks for the recommendation. Picked a pair up on Amazon for $80. They sounded really good right out of the box. Very clear, alive, good soundstage and separation. Excellent vocals. Very enjoyable. Fit is good too. However, the Fiio Control app would not work on my iPhone 13, so I couldn't adjust the equalizer to my preferences (a little added bass). It understandably only gets 2.4 stars on the App Store.
My Tradutto is sounding better and better. Cool runnings
Thanks for your continuous support! 🍻
I'd love to know what's the dac within these Earbuds and the specs. There are probably generations .. but it's not well advertised. But us (the audio geeks) love to know these details. I guess it's all within the Qualcomm chip.
So while the Qualcomm chip's integrated DAC may be a baseline, it doesn't tell the whole story. I'd be curious to know more technical details from the manufacturer about the audio circuitry and tuning used in these earbuds. I feel that the quality of the dac and the overall audio experience can still vary from model to model, even if they the same Qual chip.
Thanks for the review!
