I just LOVE the Rotary Capella. My dad bought a sedan in Switzerland back in 72 and we hit Austrian roads. Leaving stunned BMW and Merc drivers behind. What fun it was seeing them vanishing from the rear screen. Now living in Germany, these are impossible to find here.
I'm a big, huge Toyota fan! But if there's a thing that makes me tingle in joy like a freaking kid is a rotary engine! Today I saw at a red light, a 1979 light blue Mazda GLC wagon (323 in other countries) with a 13B turbo swap!! They're sound is just orgasmically, brutally and deliciously sweet!!!! LOVE ROTARIES!!!!
thank you, and don't worry, but anyways, my chassis code is (it says "frame" on the factory plate) AT-160, and the model is AT-160 BLMVF with a 1.6L 4A-GELU engine :)
these are beautiful cars...I grew up seeing these car back in Trinidad...they're gorgeous...we didn't get a lot of 2 door cars but the few I've seen were in great shape. I wish I could import one to the States
Awsome car! and as always awsome video, thanks for posting it! maybe next time can you ask the owner to startup so we can hear the beautiful engine sound :)
Wow, what a car! Being in the states we didn't get this model year Capella/RX2. Did it have a matching green interior? Never seen a green interior, wow. Loved that front end and color, great work!!
You'd never seen one? Wow. To be honest, I don't recall seeing Capellas with this updated front in Australia (they may have been there though.) The front of the rusty 4-door I recall seeing a lot of.
It's the model of carburettor that's on his engine. (It's 48 IDA, not 481DA) On another note, it's kinda strange to see that he's retained the REAPS exhaust. :-?
Hahaha, no worries. I hope your exams went well. About parts, I really have no idea. It's like people don't repair their cars here. Of course, some (probably many) do but I don't see it happening. What's your Celica's chassis code again?
I always love the rotary mazdas! Specially the r100 the rx2 and the rx3. Oh and don't forget the rx4 sweet! I use to own a 1985 rx7 gsl-se,I loved that car! It's been about 23 years that I got rid of it, and I really regret it! I was mint condition with only 25 thousand miles on it! Kind of like a charcoal black color with red leather interior. All original.
+Ryan Smith No. Series 1 has round tail lights, square headlights. Series 2 round tail lights, round headlights. Series 3 dogbone tail lights(same as this) and same front as series 2. This one is series 4. Same rear as series 3 but front is different to the others. Hope this helps.
This was my first car, bought it brand new in a brown sh*t colour but not with a rotary engine in 1976. It had a 4cyl -1600cc under the hood. Sold it after 3 years and around 110000km. To much problems and repair cost with the engine, and also some signs of rust. In here it was not named Cappella but Mazda 616 Coupé.
Sweet looking Mazda Acapella! I've always liked Mazdas of the 70s. I think it has a better looking front end styling than the car to its right, the Mazda Luce? Is that what is next to it? Maybe not Good Shit, but certainly Great Shit :). Thanks for posting such awesome cars. See you.
I like this car. My friend has one. But it came with a 4 cylinder engine. Why the owner is proud of the Weber carb? Because it makes AWESOME SOUND!! The front of the Capella is nicer than the RX3. But from the rear 3/4 windows to the back, an RX3 is better looking.
Actually it doesn't have to do anything at all with cars. Basically it refers to a well known Japanese car manufacturer that used the SX acronym for one of their most popular models. So if GS-II stands for Good Shit Too, then GSX could stand for Good SeX. ;)
sorry Daniel, I just watch your video, god freaking bimestrial exams! the last one ends tomorrow. (computer class), another thing, I hope you don't mind: my Celica's blinkers are not in good shape, because they broke 10 years ago, and I need the front ones, and also, those "twin cam 16" labels at side... do you know any place in Japan to find that stuff? because you don't find the beer bottle colour here, just the amber ones, and they are usually broken, to tell my uncle and get them there :\
I have a 4dr 😁 they are brilliant little machines fun fact for some od reason the 4dr was actually lighter then the coupes from the factory ihave buddies with coupes they told me about it
Didn't get this configuration Capella in the States. Rear end looks familiar, but that front end is pure Car Porn!! I need a cigarette after that.... and I don't even smoke!

Really? Wow, quite the performer then. :) Ah, yes. The old cars are disappearing all too soon
My dream car. I need to get one of the few that are still around before there all gone. Thanks for bringing us this vid
That 10a RX3 coupe looks pretty sweet as well!
Sorry for the abruptness of my comment. Things are tough financially. But, thank you for sticking by the channel. :) Really am sorry, man. :/
That CB12S is really beautiful one of if not the best looking body styles Mazda ever made...bar none!!!
The Capella looks great in green
One of the many good looking cars we, in the US, never got. We dream, and our government keeps us from making that dream reality. Great shoot, Dan!

And I wish I'd gotten to see the interior. That looked original and pretty much prefect.
thank you, and don't worry, but anyways, my chassis code is (it says "frame" on the factory plate) AT-160, and the model is AT-160 BLMVF with a 1.6L 4A-GELU engine :)

Thanks. Glad you liked it. :)
That is a sweeet car. Perfect design styling and cool wheels too
Awsome car! and as always awsome video, thanks for posting it! maybe next time can you ask the owner to startup so we can hear the beautiful engine sound :)
Ah! I like the Capella. I used to know someone who had a sedan version of the Capella. It had the same front end styling as this car.
Thanks man. Glad you enjoyed. ^_^
wow, very clean, I don't mind a bit of dust under the hood, it means it's not a trailer queen :)
The sports day was good. It was fun, it didn't rain and it finished early. :D
Thanks Daniel Outstanding Capella just beautiful. Is that the original AP exhaust i see.
Hahaha. That reminds me. I was out car-spotting on Sunday. Found a sweet TE71 Tueno and the owner went to start it on camera... it wouldn't start!
Wow, what a car! Being in the states we didn't get this model year Capella/RX2. Did it have a matching green interior? Never seen a green interior, wow. Loved that front end and color, great work!!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed. :)
One of the best vids yet, more stuff normal access to cars people can't have ~_~ here in the USA anyway.
Nice looking car. I've always liked 1970s Mazdas.
Very nice !! Thanks you WasabiCar !
That 323 sounds cool. Or, sounds like it sounded cool. :)
Glad you liked it. :)
Loooove this!!! RX2 here in the states.
very nostalgic cars
That other car is an RX3. I think variations of that car were called Grand Familias. Unsure though.
I totally understand. Japanese car manufacturers are making trouble for us here too. They just want to sell more stuff. :/
You'd never seen one? Wow. To be honest, I don't recall seeing Capellas with this updated front in Australia (they may have been there though.) The front of the rusty 4-door I recall seeing a lot of.
Lol. Your comment is really very simple, and yet I smile each time I look at it. :)
So, so nice. RX's generally don't interest me so much either. This one is just a stunner. :)
What's that 481DA?
Love your taste man
My pleasure. :D
It's the model of carburettor that's on his engine. (It's 48 IDA, not 481DA) On another note, it's kinda strange to see that he's retained the REAPS exhaust. :-?
one of the rare car who looks nice with 13 inches wheels
hey dude., where's all the Mazda Carols and eunos presso and familiars.? totally love your vids,
I agree about the arousal... It is awesome!
Hehe, thanks. ;-)
For me it's the front that looks odd. I don't ever recall seeing those in Oz.
great car and love that colour too
+canadiancatgreen Thanks. Dang, this is an old video. I'm afraid to watch it.
Hahaha, no worries. I hope your exams went well. About parts, I really have no idea. It's like people don't repair their cars here. Of course, some (probably many) do but I don't see it happening. What's your Celica's chassis code again?
That good shit left a big smile on my face! ;)
Queston: if GS-II stands for Good Shit Too, what does GSX stand for then? :P
Arigato!
Thanks. :)
I always love the rotary mazdas! Specially the r100 the rx2 and the rx3. Oh and don't forget the rx4 sweet! I use to own a 1985 rx7 gsl-se,I loved that car! Damn, disappointing. But a common story too
Did they market those in the UK
Never seen one before
Is a great looking car

Sick !
Thank you! :D
A member of the Italian Eurodance act that formed in 1987? Sorry, kidding. :P
Thanks! :)
Before 4 doors, after 2 doors
Thanks man. :D
very nice, is this what they call a series 2 rx2?
+Ryan Smith No. Series 1 has round tail lights, square headlights. Series 2 round tail lights, round headlights. Series 3 dogbone tail lights(same as this) and same front as series 2. This one is series 4. Same rear as series 3 but front is different to the others. Hope this helps.
Yes. That's how I like them. :)
Hahaha. Yeah, I think she loved here Rotaries too! And, you too. Wow. :)
I did notice that. It does look cool though. (I do like original.)
This was my first car, bought it brand new in a brown sh*t colour but not with a rotary engine in 1976. It had a 4cyl -1600cc under the hood. Sold it after 3 years and around 110000km. Cool. Thanks, Chris :)
No worries!
nice car
Well, both are cool. :)
I think the GS-II i saw in Brisbane 7-8 years ago had Honeycomb-style tailLights
Yeah? A blue one?
I believe he is referring to the weber carb. model on the engine. O.o
An awesome car. "GS stands for Good Shit"..obviously! Hey, where's the subbed interview with the owner..?
Sweet looking Mazda Acapella! I've always liked Mazdas of the 70s. I think it has a better looking front end styling than the car to its right, the Mazda Luce? Is that what is next to it? Maybe not Good Shit, but certainly Great Shit :). Thanks for posting such awesome cars. See you.
Well, let's just say I had a quick cigarette after my encounter with this car. :P I'll get the interior next time. :/
La 616 Capella 1.8 de 1977 fait combien de ch? Please (not rotary engine)
Like I said in the video, I get so many requests for this car. I just had to bump it up the queue. What's WB?
is this from a 4 doors convert to a 2 doors?
No, definitely not
I like this car. My friend has one. But it came with a 4 cylinder engine. Why the owner is proud of the Weber carb? Because it makes AWESOME SOUND!! The front of the Capella is nicer than the RX3. But from the rear 3/4 windows to the back, an RX3 is better looking.
What a sweet Mazda! Love that green, too. Like you said, "Good Shit!"
Actually it doesn't have to do anything at all with cars. Basically it refers to a well known Japanese car manufacturer that used the SX acronym for one of their most popular models.
So if GS-II stands for Good Shit Too, then GSX could stand for Good SeX. ;)
Agree ; that's so sweet !!!!!!
Thanks, Paul :)

Awesome Capella but prefer the 4 Door Capella’s
I'd love to see some of them. Sadly, unseen in these parts
Very nice car, but I would prefer it with original wheels like on the other car you showed...
Hehe. Thank you. :D
excelente!
you should of done a video of that savanna rx3 coupe !! lol
But actually, I see RX3's all the time. This was my first time to see an RX2. :)
WasabiCars I thought it was a 616?
Rotaswagga ok just read..(not 616 )
I want to see it Idle !!
A little too much info there Dan 😂 but it is a nice ride.
Lol. Lucky for me, this video is so old that I completely forgot what I said. Unless, you just mean the G.S. thing...
@@wasabicars great video 👍
Aha got one of them sitin down the back with a old brigs and stratton in it
Just kidding..yeah, it's so much easier to watch videos than to upload them!
Hehe, thanks. :D
I have a 4dr 😁 they are brilliant little machines fun fact for some od reason the 4dr was actually lighter then the coupes from the factory ihave buddies with coupes they told me about it
Mean in green. :)
Your sure it was just one cigarette and not two !!! LOL XD ^_^
Hehe. And in the end I didn't even really swear. :)
Nah, man. Real car all the way. :D
Sorry man. When people start paying me. :P It's pretty hard work as it is. :/
I'd love to be able to. Still broke. :/
Oh effing too right it's a YAY! :D
Didn't get this configuration Capella in the States. Rear end looks familiar, but that front end is pure Car Porn!! I need a cigarette after that.... and I don't even smoke!
Yay, Ridiculous? I'm guessing yes. Yay! :)
"due to the subject matter, profanity has been approved for this video" ^_^
Hmmm... Good Shit... Xylophone? I don't get it either. :/
Hehe, couldn't agree more. :)
Hahaha, sorry. I am generally clueless about cars. Especially compared with you.
Wow, so clean and so pretty. This car is just pure sex. Never seen anything like this before!
