If you tow it with the same vehicle, paint the vehicle license plate on the trailer roof in large letters, then if it gets stolen, its easier for the police to track it by air as it wizzes down the motorway
If you get the iforwilliams plant trailer led lights for upgrade, the bolt holes are the same so no need to drill extra, I done one for a customer and it looked much better
so is it best to have a trailer with the wheels underneath or on the side like yours........is it a wider box if the wheels are underneath........i've got a old Bateson trailer......very similar with wheels underneath
Im on my second one of these mine has sheep decks and fold down front there a good trailer everyone will say ifor is shite there not they hold there value like nothing else mine cost 3600 to change and was 10 years old with 6 knackered tyres
The hooks on the side are to hold extension gates that go on the end of the ramp gates. One for everyone to know is that any livestock transporter has to have a pen of 3 meters or less, so you’re 4.2 meter needs to be split but not more than 3 meters in one pen, the rspca check for that sometimes in markets.
The dividing gate is only a prick of a yolk on them trailers. Should of got folding flap on front would b a lit easier pulled. No tank I see either very strange.
Would have liked one of those but it was a bit more than we needed, I think if it’s your main trailer that you use everyday then hard to beat the houghton, with that level of quality comes a big price tag! 😀
Yeah I totally got the weight wrong I think! 😂 probably 350kg being transferred onto the tow bar, I just read it off the plate.. will weigh well over a tonne
Ifor Williams trailers , legend ! My dad and his brother bought their first one off him ( in person) back in the 70s.
Hi Joe,the hooks on the back side panels are for extension gates that fit onto the brackets of the swinging gates at the back. James.
I put a light on the top of the mudguards on my iforWilliams, i find it great when reversing.
Enjoy the trailer Joe!

Paint your postcode on the roof and then it doesn't matter what vehicle it is towed with.

I think you would of been better with a nugent ifor williams arnt made like they were used to
They are good with the built in tanks
I think if you swing the dividing gate forward it would lock in because the catch is keeping it from locking the way you had
You should get a slurry tank on the back I have one works great
The road soaks it up pretty good🤣

How much suggestion some brackets for carrying gauge joy comes in handy
Big mick alright after that? Sounded like that “fart” filled his boots 😂😂
It looks a nice combination, it will be good so see how the pick up pull it with a load. Do you need a tachograph if grossing over 3.5 tonne?
No

The hooks on the side when you have sheep decks, can you hang your separation gates on them for the lower and upper deck
Thanks Matthew 😀

rubbish
@@jamesmccabe1702 Why ?
Get a tracker fitted or other security devices. Those trailers are magnets for thieves.
U could put ur emblem on the front of your cattle trailer
Yeah that would be nice! I’ve added a few small sticker to it 😀

Should of got a houghton park trailer to match the lorry

Made in deeside more than likely
Put your name on it for a bit more security
A few stickers have gone on it since 😀
